Useful safety cover that won't get lost
Bought to replace a Knipex VDE knife that went 'walkies'. Safety cover is fixed to the knife so it won't come off in the tool bag. Sharpens up well with one of those fine diamond plate type sharpeners. Also bought a replacement blade just in case. Would buy again.

Poor quality
Looks a good sturdy knife and very sharp upon first use, however after 2 or 3 uses, the blade was blunt and wouldn't cut butter hot. I have used it for stripping 6mm - 16mm SWA cable, in preparation for cable jointing. Tried to sharpen it and the blade seems to be soft metal and it was ruined so could not return for a refund. Would NOT recommend wasting your money on this.
