I bought this about a month ago - After hooking it up, I was a little disappointed in the clips and the screws to fasten the clips - the clips themselves are poorly machined with sharp edges, and the screws are round top screws, so the strip can't slide all the way up in, but it seemed to hold well enough that I moved on.A month later, I was doing some cable management when I noticed the cord was extremely hot - to the point where I wasn't comfortable bundling the cord underneath the table. Then I noticed that the cord was apparently melting through - it was so hot that I could only touch it long enough to snap the picture, then I unplugged it. It will stay unplugged until a replacement LED strip - not made by this brand - arrives.

Asking for adhesion and remote star rating. No adhesion, it is silicon. Comes with aluminum clips which screw down and work well. No power supply, no remote. Nice green output, very flexible, low current consumption. Weak input connection due to very flexible silicon hood over cable andno real cable restraint. Wish they had molded the whole thing as they did with embedded leds.

Good quality. Even light. Unlike most 5mm ropes, this comes with a barrel attached plus small amount of accessories for mounting, cutting and soldering.

They work very well there is no remote so you have to unplug them and plug them back in there is also no wire so you have to get that too I also ended up getting heavy duty double sided tape to put them up they are very bright and work well I recommend just know that you’ll have to get those too

Not super bright but not dim either. Did its job at last camp kitchen. Happy with this LED rope.

They are advertised as 10 watts per meter. (LED Quantity: 120 LEDS /M ,Led Type: 2835 SMD ,Power:10W/M) I bought two white 5M strips and a 10 amp power supply but they were very dim for what I expected to be 100 watts total of leds (10 meter * 10 watts / meter = 100 watts). I bought a power meter to check and the total only registered 38 watts for the 10 meters. I checked the watt meter on an electric radiant heater and it was within 5% of the rated consumption so I know it is good. Do not buy these if you are expecting 10W/M. They are about 4W/M.

This is a great light for the DIY kind of situation. Some people complained about these getting hot.Let me explain. The connector does get quite warm so I cut it out of the equation and soldered it to the power supply leads. Note this does not come with a power supply but a 2 amp 12 volt DC supply will work well. I don't believe the light can catch fire as one review quoted. These are made of silicone. I measured the current draw at 12 volts DC and it is only 1.5 amps which is very small.The clips that come with it don't work (too narrow) so I 3D printed some that are awesome. My friends that visit me think it's really cool and for the price it's a fraction of a real neon light and it looks just a good if not better. I will order more and do some additional creative designs for my guy pad....LOL

I bought 2 and installed them around a month ago. One of them caught fire today and when I looked the other one it was. About too catch fire too.

We put the lights on the top of our kitchen cupboards and they give a great glow at night. Bright enough that we don't need to turn the main light on if we are just puttering around. Love the lights!

I was expecting it to be brighter but decided to keep it anyway.We'll see how long it will last.
