Stampers AnonymousTim Holtz Cling Stamps 7"X8.5", Mixed Media

These are some of my most loved stamps that I use in layering in my mixed media art. They look like you layered something, yet have no thickness or bulk because, obviously, they are simply a stamp. It looks like chicken wire or ribbon or just a great textural element and if you use a stays on ink pad, you can stamp these patterns over anything...slick papers, canvas, handmade paper etc and it won't smudge.I like to layer elements and then use a sandpaper dremel on some art pieces and this peeking out even if layered beneath something is equally as good as it just adding a textural or pattern across an area of your artwork. I even use it in paintings. It adds pattern, texture, interest, and instant oomph you could not sketch on otherwise and looks nothing like a stamp--as this is certainly not a typical rubber stamp.You can take something like an old photograph, magazine picture, wallpaper, and when you stamp this across the pattern still comes through underneath but you have greater interest to the top. I just find more and more uses for them and use them ALL the time.

No matter what Tim Holtz creates, I absolutely love. Whether it be the Tim Holtz Cling Rubber stamps for backgrounds, the Cling Rubber stamps that are numbers, or the alphabet, they are all excellent quality. Recently I became enamored with doing small canvases with mixed media art. This is when I discovered Tim Holtz products. First, I purchased a package of tons of old fashioned looking reproduction prints of post cards (miniature), sewing related items, advertising related items, so many different topics. High quality and have used so many of them in so many products. Then I moved on to the printed tissue paper, the spray inks and the one inch square ink pads. There are just so many wonderful high quality products to use. This set of stamps is so great for background images and subtle overlays in your mixed media art.

I've recently started taking some mixed-media painting classes, and I ordered these stamps on a whim.I love the textured effects that they leave on the canvas! While I still like to use things like bubble wrap to add texture, these are easier and faster to use.The stamps also come sheeted on a plastic backing and are flexible, making them really easy to bend into small places on your canvas, without having to use the entire stamp.I've used these with both stamp pad inks and paints (which you need to clean off right away), and they work well with each media.I've loved every Tim Holtz product I've bought so far, including this one!

As usual Tim Holtz out did himself. Everything I have bought from him exceeded expectations....

I’m a Mixed Media Person, these stamps are a must have for my purposes.

my wife loves thes uses them almost everyday. the price was right the product was perfect for what she needed at the time. I would recommend to anyone in the mixed media or stamp field. Saves me a trip to the cities which is 2hrs away from our house one way.

Love these! I used them with distress inks ( fry we'd burlap and another lighter shades and results were much like a stencil image which I loved. great background stamps ... Also edge stamps. Love tim H!

Durable and great patterns... using these a lot. Like that they have a firm back so I can stamp with paint as well as ink.
