I liked this product because it was very easy and simple to use . I’m using it for my locker at work and I can say I’m satisfied.

Good locks and great price

My wife and I use these locks on gym lockers. They are small enough to carry in a pocket as well as a gym bag and are easy to apply. There are four dials with numbers that can be set at any desired combination of four digits. The only down side is the marks to line the combination digits up with are black on black. People with vision problems or using in low light situations may find some difficulty lining up the digits. Thus the 4 star rating. My wife solved this problem with four dabs of white marker. With regard to "weatherproof", they do not appear to be nor were they claimed to be as I remember.We saw very similar locks with only three digit combinations at a sporting goods store for $12 - $14 each, thus the price is surely a positive aspect.

I use this for GENERAL firearm storage (no small children @ home). I put some firearms in a gym bag to take to the range and I use this lock. I also use these locks on the individual gun cases inside the bag. (I also have cable locks through the action & mag wells.)This is not to suggest the use of bags and cases in lieu of a gun safe. Locked firearms, cases, and bags are better than unsecured weapons.

Froze in cold weather

Like much of the stuff offered by third party sellers, these lock are objectively trash. Sure they have a key, but changing the code does work; this defeats the purpose of a combination lock if the default code of 0000 is the only code you can use.I relied on the reviews, which was clearly a mistake in deciding to purchase these.

I use these to lock cell phones up when kids abuse them. Good little locks!

These locks are well built. The numbers spin nice and the fit and finish is good.
