We had such a fun time with these and the whole process took a long time, so good value. I hid the eggs in the garden for the children to find. Then they cracked them open like paleontologists. The tools provided worked nicely. Then they matched their dinos to the cards and read about each dinosaur. Then they played with their dinosaurs. It made for a fun afternoon. My daughter is now playing detective with the magnifying glass.

This set is awesome. It is packed full of dinosaur eggs, 12 in total. It took my youngest child a decent amount of time to dig for her dinosaur, she was really pleased to discover a little diplodocus in the centre of her egg. There are cards telling you about each dinosaur that you unearth too. This gift is ideal for a dinosaur enthusiast like my child, however it would also be fun for a group of children as there are plenty eggs to go round.

Thickness: sort of egg thickness, if they were made of some sort of chalky stuff.Value for money: darn great. The little dinosaurs are a bit small, but that's not the point. It is the hunting of them that matters.Sturdiness: we use a steel wrench to smash them open, asy son is a little young and feeble to chisel way at them. However, he looks well chuffed when he finds one in the grass, carefully dropped by his daddy two minutes earlier.A great way to get your kids exploring bushes and following maps. Make Dino-maps and find them, smash them open and identify them.

I never normally have the time or inclination to write a review however, these eggs deserve a mention as we are absolutely delighted with them. I bought them for my dinosaur-mad little boy who has been enthralled by them! To him, they look and feel like dinosaur eggs and every time he breaks one up to discover a little dinosaur he is thrilled. Great value for money.

I hated these and so did my 3 year old son. I thought the pictures on the side would be what you got in the eggs. Only 5 of the eggs actually had dinosaurs in them and they were about an inch and a half in size, so most of the broke whilst getting them out. Absolute waste of money!

I bought this product for my four year old nephew and he absolutely loved it! So much fun with water, digging and he even now uses the term 'excavation'. Also gave him plenty of opportunity to test us on our knowledge of dinosaurs. Highly recommend!

Theses are great for any little dinosaur lover! My little guy loved them... Do it outside as it is quite messy I heard the hard way! 😆😆😆 The excitement with these was well worth the money!
