Not what I hoped for
I returned this book. The front cover is a bit misleading - you cannot use a pasta machine for these recipes - There was one that you could but that was it. Most all had to be cut by hand - not that I mind that aspect, I just would like to use my equipment as I pretty much cook all my meals at home. I was hoping to find a low carb pasta book that had pasta dough recipes for a pasta machine. Low carb doughs I've found to date lack the strength to handle this. So, if you buy this book - it's all by hand. I also did not like that it lacked photographs, most of us really appreciate seeing what the recipe is supposed to look like when finished at least.

Confusing title
I was looking for ways to make keto pasta. This book is mostly sauces.

Not a book about noodles
So, unfortunately I didn't want to believe the bad reviews but I should have. I'm out the ridiculous amount of money for this book. It indeed does not have recipes for keto noodles.... it's just like zucchini noodles and recipes for sauces (many of which are already keto). Most of this book is an irrelevant history of noodles that are not keto. It feels kind of like a scam.

Not recipes that work with a pasta machine, not many that use dough at all, poor quality
From the cover you'd assume that this book was all about making keto pasta from scratch using a pasta machine but it's not. There are very few recipes to actually make pasta from scratch, most of the recipes either use commercial pasta or use pasta substitutes like zucchini and squash which aren't going to survive being run through a pasta machine. There's a history of pasta section in the book - not really relevant as keto pasta is NOT wheat-based pasta, there are references to research but no links to prove that the author is not just making things up, there are lists of the equipment you need to make pasta - again, only relevant to making pasta from wheat NOT relevant to making keto pasta from vegetables or buying it in a shop, and a list of things you need to cook pasta which is again only relevant to wheat pasta. The references to checking the settings on your pasta maker and not overworking the dough were particularly amusing to me.And that's the first 22% of the book - a whole lot of irrelevant fluff. The rest of the book is recipes except for the final pages which has a 'bonus' shopping list of things I'm assuming that you will need to make the recipes. But there aren't any links to the recipes or any quantities so it's not a very useful list. And then there are the errors. The whole text of the book is justified including the headings which leads to some really weird looking results (see image). But there are also other formatting issues like bullet pointed lists without the bullets so it's not easy to see what the points are. And some points start in the middle of the page and some at the edge which make the book look messy. And some of the recipe ingredients have okay formatting and some say things like 0.49oz of coconut flour or 4.9oz of yogurt. And the recipe that says you need 'Meaty Keto Lasagna Filling' but there's no recipe for that. And one of the recipes is repeated at the end of the book. And there are no images for the recipes at all so you can't see how they are meant to turn out.If you want a book that will really help you create keto pasta from scratch then this is not the book for you.

Great recipes
Easy to follow, simple ingredients. Looking forward to trying these. More recipes than I expected. Sounds like a great alternative.
