We have the correct wattage bulb in it yet, after being on a very short period of time, the lamp starts to smell funny. It also doesn’t stand totally straight even though it’s assembled properly, & sitting on a flat surface. One joint did NOT screw in quite all the way no matter which way we tried it. Disappointing for the price. I’d have returned it if I’d had time before my son’s surgery.2 stars because at least it turned on I guess?

THIRD one for my house. I am an avid reader and this lamp is not intrusive, goes with all decors and I just love the weighted bottom. Good product. Doesn't appear to be a screen together kind of item although it is. Looks better than it is.

GREAT LAMPHowever the problem is the short lampshade. When you angle it the bulb is exposed directly into the eyes of anyone in the room. I really need to be able to angle it as in the photo so I taped a piece of paper to cover the bulb. My roommate sits across the room and the bulb is glaring in his direction. A different bulb will not make a difference.

I purchased the special bulbs to go along with the light, but ended up going with LEDs. The lamp doesn't seem to project light very well with either bulb, so my husband has been pointing the shade toward the wall to remedy the lack of light. It is a nice looking lamp, but I'm not entirely happy with it. Wish now that I had gone with a white shade.

Great lamp for the price. I find it attractive and is functional. It allows for a 60 watt bulb (not included) and was very simple to assemble. I like the fact that the light height is adjustable. Great for a dorm room or guest room. Using mine for a puzzle table.

For the price, this is a decent product. CONS- It is thinner than I had hoped, the metal connectors came bent, and it doesn't stand straight. PRO- It is a cute light fixture. The piece came bent and so it does not stand straight, so we had to bend the product in order to fix it.

Feel like a quality product. Little weird that the cord just hangs halfway down the lamp. Cord is short, make sure that the plug is close to wherever you plan to place this lamp. May be my bulb but it’s not that bright(I think it may have come with a bulb).
