I have had this speaker for a few weeks now and I can safely say this is the best portable party speaker in sub $100 range. The sound quality is very good for the price with heavy bass. The mids and highs can sometimes be slightly drowned out by the lows when listening to genres with less prominent bass, however, you wont be able to find better sounding speakers at this price range. The bass booster feature is great for genres like hip hop or EDM and can shake a small room at higher volumes. The lights are a nice added feature that can add a good vibe to the atmosphere, but seems to drain the battery slightly faster. The bluetooth connection has been flawless from my experience and has not disconnected. The speaker is also fairly light and transportable compared to other party speakers. The speaker gets pretty loud at full volume and can easily fill a large room, however I have found that when the speaker is on low battery, the volume seems to drop slightly and the speaker is at its loudest when plugged in.The only real downsides with the speaker are the battery life and the USB charging port. The battery life is good enough for most situations, however does not quite last 18 hours as stated. I have found that it lasts about 11 hours when the lights are turned off, and 10 hours with the lights turned on. Furthermore, the USB charging port in the back does not seem to work for me most times. I found that it continuously disconnects and reconnects every few seconds when I plug my phone in to charge. I am not sure if its an issue with my refurbished version, or on all speakers.Overall, I have been very happy with this purchase. Going from smaller portable bluetooth speakers to this one has been a game changer. From blasting music at house parties or smaller outdoor parties, to casually listening in my bedroom, this speaker has enough volume, bass, and sound quality to replicate some home sound systems. The few cons of this speakers are far outweighed by the low price, portability, sound quality, and volume. I would totally recommend this speaker!

This thing is a workhorse. I have used it twice. Took it camping a couple weeks ago and used it all day long at lower volumes. Turned it on around 11:00 am and used it until probably 2:00 am. Probably less than half volume the whole time. Took it out yesterday for about 8 hours. Ran it full volume for probably 2 hours. I was reading half battery when i turned it off. This speaker needs to break in it seems. I was a little disappointed in the sound when I first turned it on, but after running it for most of the day the sound became more pleasing. At full volume it still sounds very good from 50 yards away. It does have a fake tweeter, which is pretty dumb, but it doesn't hurt anything. The lights are kind of cool, but I generally leave them off. I very seriously doubt anything can touch the Rave mini in terms of value.

I spent WAY too much time reading reviews. I wanted something that had the sound presence to fill my garage and backyard, while also being able to take to the beach/park from time to time. This is probably the best product for the money that fits that criteria. It's capable of HUGE sound. The bass sounds great (something lacking on pretty much ALL of the smaller speakers). the battery is sold. The lights are fun.I have a bunch of smaller speakers (Anker, UE, etc.) and while they are great, they sound small outdoors and have very little bass presence. This speaker may be overkill in comparison, but for the price, it feels premium. If you'd slapped a Sony or Sonos logo on it, I wouldn't be surprised. I'm very happy with the purchase.

I bought this renewed just to save money and have had generally good experiences buying used products from Amazon. They have a great refund or exchange policy so the risk is always worth it for me!Anyway I'm so glad I bought this speaker. It's big enough to be loud and compact enough to carry with 1 hand. My Samsung connected with it with no issue and the sound is great. My friend iPhone kept cutting out occasionally so I'm not sure if there's an issue with that specific brand. I paid less than $90 for it. Battery life so far seems good, can play it all day (~6hrs) and it will have about less than half left

UPDATE: Unfortunately the battery didn’t charge at all and ended up totally dead. I put it in the charge for more that 4 hours and it just ended up dead. When it’s plugged in, it turns on and off right away. I will be returning it and paying extra for a brand new one. JUST SAVE A BIT MORE FOR NEW PRODUCTS. MOST OF THE BAD REVIEWS WERE SPOT ONOne thing you all got to remember is always read everything twice and definitely the heading at the top that says “RENEWED”. It’s not a brand new speaker. It’s used but fixed by amazon lol. Some come good and come come bad in the comments but mines was in pretty good shape. So far the battery lasted two days in use and no problems so far. I saw tiny dings and scratches but nothing I would not put on it.New or RENEWED was a win for me. I especially use this to dj on my DDJ-400 when I don’t want to pull out my bigger speakers.

Bought 2 of this refurb'ed for my patio, so i can use in stereo mode. I'm pleased with the performance and sound quality. Definitely not audiophile grade or anything but I can't complain for this price. I use it in indoor sound mode, so the sound quality is a little better. i noticed in outdoor mode, the mids and highs are really loud and bass is not that clear. In indoor mode, it sounds more refined, so I use indoor mode outdoor as well as I don't need that very high volume. I just use it to relax on my deck while having a drink.

First off, this thing BUMPS. Outdoor mode is louder, and really thumps within 30 feet of the the speaker. Still plays loudish further away, but the sweet spot for 1 speaker is around 30 feet. Tempted to get a second one to do some stereo play. Using it for my patio/home gym. Set's up mood to really get going. Also use it around the pool when my brother and nephews come around. 1 is enough for a back yard kickback. A party? You'd need at least 2 or more of these.
