Rubie's Batman Dog Costume

Love it. There are more ties than I thought but they do keep everything in place. If you have a a squirmy dog, the first time might be hard. I leave the neck part tied so I can just slip it over her head. The cape has strings on the inside to hold it in place around the waist. I didn't bother with the belt or the hat. The belt seemed unnecessary and nobody would see it unless she's sitting. The hat is a waste because the ears do not stay up on their own. Colors are true to the picture. For the price it's great but you get what you pay for. It's thin and probably won't stand up to regular or heavy use but I'd easily buy another. Medium fit my 37-40 pound petite border collie/terrier mix very well with a lot of extra room to grow. A large would have been way too big.

I didn't use the ears bc he has black ears and his own ears looked much nicer than the floppy ones that came with the costume. The costume itself was Great! I was worries about the size and used my vest judgement since, he has a longer body than most dogs. The large fit great! He has a 28" neck to tail measurement, 24" chest and 18" collar. This fit perfectly! It was a tad long on the sides of his body (cape) but he's a corgi blk lab mix and is short, so this was expected! He got tons of compliments and he really liked it! I was impressed by the quality for the amazing price! Would recommend!

Got this for my Jack Russell mix. He's on the pudgy side, about 15lbs. I measured his neck, chest & back length. Size chart showed I needed a large but decided on the medium, hoping it would have some stretch. Should've got a small. The set came with 4 pieces.-The bat ears, kinda like a bandana with foamy pointy ears, 2 holes for pets ears & stirring ties that goes under the chin.-A foam chest piece, slightly curved in on each side, with a string running across the top (ties around neck) & bottom (ties around chest, under front legs) extending past the sides acting as ties.-A foam belt with black jersey knit that ties around the waist.-A jersey knit cape that ties around the neck with another string about half way down that, I'm guessing ties around the waist.-Didn't use the ears cause the holes didn't align with my dogs ears.-The cape was dragging so I trimmed off 2-3 inches & cut off the extra tie that was half way down.-The belt fit fine, a smaller size would have fit also.-The chest piece need the most adjustment. It was too wide, went all the way across his chest including the legs. Had to pin in the sides so I could tie it around him so he could walk & w/o chaffing him. Being foam, pinning pulled the ties in & made it fit a little awkward but w/o hurting or bothering him.Overall the jersey knit & thin poly foam were soft, stretchy, bendable and my dog didn't look the least bit uncomfortable. All the ties were extra long for a good fit. The whole outfit stayed in place (minus a couple of re-ties) all day w/o any twisting slipping or bunching.

sooo many strings! I bought my sisters dog a Robin outfit and figured this one would be similar, nope. EACH piece has to be tied! belt, chest piece, cape, ears. its sooo many strings dog kept pulling on them. In addition it was big on him and smaller size was unavailable. A pull on would have been so much more convenient and comfortable for dog.

It was perfect for my 12 lbs dachshund

I got a large for my 60 lbs husky and it ended up being too small for him. I should have gotten an xlarge. I thought this costume was really cute on him with his personality. The ears and belt that came with the costume were useless so I ended up tossing it. The ears would fit over his already pointy ears and flop over to the sides. He would shake it off because it was annoying to him. I don't blame him. My husky has a grey markings over his ears anyways so it ended up working out. The belt would fall onto his crotch area and then down his back legs. You can't really see it anyways. The cape was just right, but would flop over even with all the ties. Overall I really liked this costume. Kids who saw him would stare at him, telling me they think he's cool looking.

The ears don't actually stand up like in the pic. Got an extra large and the body part won't even go around my dogs chest he isn't that big 65 pounds ordered a XL doesn't fit my golden doodle meant for a smaller dog but XL shoudk fit my dog considering dogs are much larger than mine

These were hilarious on our Aussiedoodles! We couldn't stop laughing as they ran around in the Batman & Robin costumes. They're medium size dogs & the costumes fit great.

The media could not be loaded.  Look great on a Husky. Didn’t put on the cap as the fake ears look lame. Luckily, the doggie’s ears are erect!

Not the easiest thing to put on, but the dog likes wearing it non the less.The ears are too floppy to stand up, but the rest of the outfit fits wonderfully.
