Good but needs to be more long lasting?
I really like the effeciency of having a slip on shoe but I dont like the look of most slip on shoes so these fixed that “problem” for me. I think the concept is awesome and they fit my shoes well. I bought these set in March and x2 has already snapped (just the top ones that stretches the most whenever the shoe is being put on) and i have no more spares. To be fair, I use these pair of shoes with the hickies almost everyday but only for walking and the occasional runnaround with my toddler.So... £13 for the initial set and another £13 for spares? Seems to be a lot for me.

Disappointed!
I bought them to go in my Adidas Samba training shoes.I got 14 Hickies - the Adidas Samba has 8 pairs of holes per trainer, so I was always one short. Also, I ordered black Hickies - but, although it said black on the packaging they were dark grey, certainly not black (as my Adidas Samba Trainers are). Anyway, I put them on my Trainers and then put the trainers on my feet. They were incredibly tight - I could only just get the trainer on. The Hickie nearest my ankle was stretched way too much and causing quite a lot of discomfort. I therefore removed that Hickie (and left those lace holes blank) and put it nearest my toes. This seemed to partially work, although the nearer my ankles the Hickies were, the more stretched they are.One of the Hickies mid way down my trainer has now snapped - they are just over a month old!I’m sorry to say that I will be replacing them with traditional laces. It is a great idea, just really badly executed.

... large feet so I thought these would be a great way for me to make my shoes either to ...
*UPDATE*After 4 months these have now started to fail completely. One has snapped and I do not expect the others to last too much longer.I have quite large feet so I thought these would be a great way for me to make my shoes either to quickly slip on an off. They do the job quite well and feel like they are providing reasonable support, but roughly every other day one of them will come undone. This isn't too much hassle as I have five on each shoe and one coming undone doesn't cause any problems while just walking around but I wouldn't want to use them for running or anything more intense.

Pay attention to which seller you order from! Not a genuine product!
I ordered these, and it was fulfilled by Parke Bowen, however I don't think I've received a genuine product. For the 2.0 design they are supposed to have a tapered end, but these ones have an abrupt hole on the end that you pull over the button. I've only had these hickies in my shoes for 20 days, and already FIVE of them have snapped. It's not even like I have massive feet and I'm over-stretching them; I wear a ladies UK size 7. I'm so disappointed, as I was really excited about the idea of never having to faff with laces again. I haven't totally ruled this product out yet, but I know that the ones from this seller are no good and I will be complaining to them directly about this as well.

No size differentiation - makes trainers VERY tight!
I bought a pair of Skechers Bobs that had tennis-ball-yellow accents on them which turned out to be lace-ups not slip ons, so I decided to get Hickies in a matching accent colour. I bought Hickies as I hadn't heard of the other brands on Amazon and wanted to buy something I trusted. What a mistake. The Hickies are all one size, so they're great for the botton lace, but the higher up the trainer you get, the tighter it pulls the sides together and the harder it is to get the shoe on. I laced mine on the loosest setting according to the instructions. After some squeezing of said foot in trainer, most of the fastening studs have flipped around due to stretching them so far, and the trainers look messy. You then sit there flipping them all back around again. I went for a walk with my dog, was gone for about 45 minutes and then when I came back, the tops of my feet were red raw from the tightness of the shoes. For the price, and the fact that they send you way more than you need (very wasteful and increases the cost to the consumer) I found bitterly disappointing.

Absolutely brilliant... while they last.
In principle, this is a great idea for a product. Received mine on the 16 November and followed the simple instructions on how to 'lace' them up. Slipped on my shoes and was really pleased with them. I have quite large feet (UK 13 mostly) and these felt nice and comfortable in my DC trainers, although a little on the thin side aesthetically, but that may well not be an issue for people with slightly smaller shoes. Even had enough to lace two shoes with 4 of them spare, great! However we have not even reached February and 5 of them have snapped already, leaving me now with 1 too few to use. For something that works so well when they are intact, this is bitterly disappointing. At £13 a pack, I would need to spend another nearly £30 a year on them just to keep replacing them. Thankfully I have kept the original laces for the trainers and have put them back in. My last pair of trainers had the original laces from start to finish (2 years), and replacing them would have been a fraction of the cost had they failed, but they didn't.So yeah, on the face of it, these really are a good idea and truly are brilliant when in use, but would cost you a small fortune to keep you in good supply for the frequency that they snap.

Amazing!
I bought these for a trip abroad to avoid the constant hassle of having to stop to tie laces - I'm extremely happy with them! Not a single person has even noticed that they're not laces, it's just so easy so slip my feet in and out of them. They also don't feel loose at all which used to be a problem for me. They're very supportive, will definitely purchase more in the future.

Top product
A bit tricky to get used too, but once mastered, these fasten easier than laces. The main advantages are firstly, that they are unlikely to come undone whilst walking, a problem I frequently have with laces and even better still, if your feet swell in heat, these simply stretch, avoiding discomfort associated with laces being too tight. Overall, I highly recommend these. Currently in use on boots, trainers and smart shoes, all without a hitch. Jut remember to check the shoes have eyelets rather than hooklets as these may not stretch easily around hooks
