I won’t use any other brand on-duty
I’ve had my Gerber tactical pen for over 10 years and have only had to refill the cartridge a handful of times with Rite-in-Rain pen refills. The ink quality is outstanding, and the value for what you get is unbeatable. These refills have proven to be incredibly durable and reliable, even in tough conditions. I will continue buying this brand for the rest of my law enforcement career. Highly recommended for anyone needing dependable writing tools.

Do you write in the rain?
Truth is I don't care. Some time ago I bought that fancy Gerber pen. The one with the glass breaker tip on it. It uses these inserts, so this was a replacement for the original and I have to say, it produces smooth consistent fine ink. It's a good pen. Regardless of what pen you're putting this into, assuming it's the correct size, it writes well and lasts quite a while. The writing in the rain claims haven't been tested but that's not why I bought it. Like I said, it's a good pen.

This ink cartridge was designed for space and extreme temperatures, and underwater writing. Fisher Space Pen truly created a wonderous item with their ink cartridge.

The only pen I use at work
I keep buying these refills because the pen from this company is the only one I will use at work. I had an issue with a refill once not writing as expected. The company immediately sent me a replacement and made the situation right. Every other refill I’ve had works great.
