I will be purchasing more.As with so many Umbra products, this combines beauty, elegance, and function. What more could you ask for? An unbelievably low price.In terms of function, despite its small size holds multiple rings, and has a solid weight. It's made of zinc coated in chrome. The felt-covered bottom means that you need not worry about scratching whatever service you put it on.I chose the elephant because it symbolizes power and strength. At the same time, it has a delightful whimsical quality.The substantial weight and the distribution of that weight make it well balanced. Another plus is that unlike some other ring holders it has a small footprint that does not take up very much space next to your kitchen sink or on your bathroom vanity.An added bonus is that even without rings on it, it's a very attractive objet d'art.Beware however, it comes wrapped in bubble wrap with no box. So if you are going to give it as a gift, you will need to either find a box or purchase a box. Another option is one of the organza bags you can pick up in a dollar store or on Amazon.The different animals also have different body parts to hold the rings. Apparently some are more effective than others. In particular, there were a lot of reviews expressing discontent with the cat.Finally, not only would I recommend this particular Umbra product but any of the Umbra products carried by Amazon. It's worth searching on the word Umbra and seeing what comes up!

Bought this as a gift fo my wife to go with two other Umbra copper colored ring holders. Arrived loose in the box but unscathed, the other was wrapped in bubble wrap and in a bag, didn't appear to break out of another bag. The elephant is solid and well made and a nice size: 1-3/4" L x 1-1/2" W x 3" H. Height is for feet to top of tusk.The ad said made of zinc which may explain its' weight, which is 2.6 oz so adds to the stability along with its' width and length dimensions. The chrome finish does't seem to collect fine prints and if so wipe off easily. Seems like the finish will be durable, but this is just out of the box. The nose and tusks are on solid, they do not wiggle or bend with reasonable force.The bottom is covered with a black felt like substance- I dipped the critter in my tea just now and placed it on a write piece of paper and there was no stain, so seems safe fo this spills on the furniture. It depends on your ring sizes but seems like the elephant will hold at least ~8-10 rings. The tusks and nose are ~2/16" diameter so no problems with rings not sliding on to the holder and some ear rings might fit as well. Overall a great product and an affordable cute functional gift.it took some time to measure the dimensions, weigh the critter, etc.... so if you found this helpful please hit the "helpful" button. This is such a cute but elegant ring holder! It's cute because it's shaped as a bunny and the two ears gives you more room to hold more rings. And it is elegant because the design is very sleek with a shiny, silvery chromium-like finish.It's about 3 to 3.2 inches tall - but don't let that fool you, it can hold a good amount of rings if you love rings on multiple fingers as I do. It won't topple over from the weight of your rings if you have big class rings and such because it has a solid base (also, two ears to balance the rings out). It also doesn't take up so much space on your vanity or countertop, a nice plus. To me, this is such a steal of $8 because I've been looking for a simple cute design like this - other ring holders in stores I've found were over $15 in my area and nowhere near as simple as this design (I don't like those ring holders with a bowl and a pillar in the dead center of it: it takes too much space and not very appealing to me).I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a simple and cute ring holder. If you don't like bunnies, I would gladly recommend you looking at Umbra's other designs which have swan, mouse, elephant, etc. After having it for over a month, there are no scratches or signs of deteriorating. Package came in on time and protected the product well.

I really liked how this look in the pics and reviews were good so I decided to try it. My biggest worry was after a while that it would lose some of its shine or worse, get rusty. I am happy to report that 7 months of my wife putting her ring on it and this sitting in our bathroom with daily showers steaming it up, that it is still holding up really nice. Still nice and shiny when I wipe it off. No rust. It has really good heft and weight to it so I expect this to last a very long time. Really happy with this purchase.

This is a small ring holder but its size belies its weight. I wanted something sturdy and attractive that would fit on the windowsill over my kitchen sink and would not be easily knocked over. This fit the bill perfectly! As noted, it is not very large but holds my engagement and wedding ring with room to spare. Plus it has some heft so it won't get knocked over so easily. Since it is metal, it also won't break. Love it!

It’s fine if you have a bigger ring size, but I wear a 4.5 wedding band and it is too small to fit over the llama’s head. :( so, my husband can use this to securely hold his rings, but I have to dangle my rings off the llama’s ears or tiny tail, which makes me super nervous with two cats in the house. I would choose a different shape if you have a small ring size. Otherwise, these ring holders are great, heavy, and hold up well for the money. We had a cat-shaped one for three years that served us well until it was knocked into the sink and the cat tail broke off.

I like the fact that it is fairly heavy, and therefore, does not fall over. It is cute and keeps numerous rings in one safe place.

very sturdy, wouldn’t fall over with any amount of jewellery. a good weight and feels good quality, bought as a gift for my stepmother and she seemed very happy. packaging is practical but not at all giftable (comes in a cardboard envelope with bubble wrap) so i’d put it in a separate box before gifting. trunk could be longer to hold more rings but the tusks are helpful too, if it were for myself i would probably need more space but she doesn’t have too many rings so it’s not a problem. came the next day after ordering and overall i’m very impressed. very shiny and looks expensive. packaging was 2.99 though which i find over the top considering how scrappy it was :/ overall good value for money and a nice little gift.

The elephant was great! Super nice shiny finish and quality. It was packaged well so it wouldn’t get scratched so it was nice. My girlfriend loved for a stocking stuffer! Umbra makes great products.

Really sweet, cheap, gift idea. I bought two rabbits, one in silver and the other gold. The rabbits are about the size of a tube of lipstick. They are quite sturdy and have a good heft to them. Personally, I think they look good with one, maybe two rings on them, before they start to look weighed down. They do not come in a box, so if you wish to gift them you'll have to pack them in something; they only come wrapped in bubble wrap. Cute idea, I was satisfied.

A very elegant piece. I use it as a decor item in my living room, instead of using it as a ring holder.After 2 months of use, the shine appears to be the same.
