it's warm, looks good, doesn't slide down and doesn't cut off circulation. Just wish it were shorter.
This fits a little tightly around the top of my thighs (29" off the ground, 18" circumference). I therefore wear this around mid thigh (22" off the ground) and it doesn't slide around that much since it's nice and tight (but doesn't cut off circulation). This makes the stocking too long (it's too long even if I put it at the top of my thigh where my thigh joins my torso, aka 29" off the ground), so I normally put some folds at the bottom or wear it to look like a little flare near the bottom. But it's warm, looks good, doesn't slide down and doesn't cut off circulation. Well worth the buy. It's perfect for any day you don't want to wear stockings but need leg warmers longer than the standard ones that fit below the knee.I just wish I knew about and bought the shorter version so it fits a little better as a mid thigh-high stocking:https://www.amazon.com/Body-Wrapper-Womens-Stirrup-Legwarmers/dp/B000NTBNVI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1511766829&sr=8-1&keywords=Body-Wrapper-Womens-Stirrup-Legwarmers

Great but VERY LONG.
I really love these legwarmers! They are comfortable, not itchy, stretchy enough to fit well but snug and the band at the top doesn't cut into my leg. I'm 5'4" and 130 lbs. The only thing is these are LONG. I have ordered legwarmers from several leading dancewear brands and their long legwarmers all fit like the ones in the image shown of this product---but these I can pull all the way up my leg to my crotch and there is still about 4" of extra fabric bunching somewhere. So they are perfect for long legged people or if you want some extra warmth around your ankles, but if you're shorter and want a smooth line these are not for you.

I'm tiny, and these fit me perfectly.
As someone who weighs 105 pounds soaking wet, it is really hard to find legwarmers that actually fit me. Most are way too large around the thigh and fall down. The local dance supply store near me went out of business, and I had purchased this brand from them before. I was really happy to be able to find it on Amazon since the last pair I had lasted about 10 years before the elastic started to come out in the wash. This will not fit larger people, but if you have a child in dance or are teeny like me, they are perfect.

Great long long long legwarmers!
This was a great buy. I ordered these in both black and maroon. Both have held up well. They are very long (and as long as advertised). The hole for the heel holds up well and I haven't noticed them slipping around at all. They keep my legs warm. One note - while these are long and can cover most of the length of the leg as in the picture, the tops of these are a bit tight (and I am pretty thin!), so I find myself not keeping them pulled all the way up my leg as I'd want to for long periods. That's the only (and very minor) negative. Buy away, these are great!

Tight at top, pill like crazy
These leg warmers are hit or miss, depends what you need them for and what is important for you. They are super tight at the top so I'd you have any thigh meat at all they will just get over your knees. They are nice and slouchy if that's how you want to wear them though. They pill like crazy even after only 1 wash. Like really crazy, they look raggedy like I've owned them for years, since I'm using them underneath clothing it doesnt matter to me as much just be aware you will need to de-fuzz and since they are super long that may take some time. Overall they are warm and cover my lower legs so I kept them, but even though they are advertised as "extra-long" and they technically true, they cannot be worn all the way up the thighs in anyone other than tall anorexic pre-teens.

Versatile, comfy, and super cute
I LOVE these things. I bought them specifically for running, to wear over my compression pants in cold weather. They've been great. I have big thighs, so they fit over my legs, but they may or may not go over legs that are bigger than mine. For size reference, I'm 5'6 and 138 lb, athletic. The bands at the top fit snug, so I can pull them all the way up to the bottom of my butt cheeks, and they stay up great while I'm doing my 4-mile runs. In fact, they stay up so well that I clip my iPod onto the band of one leg warmer instead of my pants waistband. They allow me to move freely when running and/or boxing, and it's a nice added layer of warmth in cold weather. I also wear them under mini skirts and short sweater dresses, and they look like sweater tights. I've bought 4 or 5 pairs of these by now and they are very reasonably priced. I've attached a couple of pictures from a Superhero 5k race where I dressed as Elektra. They were perfect because it was a mild day, and the pants I had on underneath don't hold in heat.I love the stirrup cut-outs for your heels. Looks much nicer than just footless tights. Very sexy with high heels and a mini skirt. Another advantage is that when I pull them up to my butt cheeks, it gives my butt a little bit of lift, which is good if you've hit 30 like me and are now fighting gravity ;-) So they look great with sweater dresses, mini skirts, and I've even used them for costumes. I went as Harley Quinn for Halloween, so I bought a black pair and a red pair, wore one on each leg, and they were perfect. I highly recommend them.

Nope. Just don't do it.
DO NOT BUY. I wouldn't have even risked it if I'd realized there was no return policy. I saw the picture of that woman holding it up and thought she might just be short, but no. These things are insanely long. The problem is they aren't wide. To be the same height as the ones in the product photo, it cut too tightly around my leg and was highly unflattering. I'm a size 8-10 in jeans, so I'm far from skin and bones, but you would basically have to be a runway model for these to look good on you - ultra tall and super skinny. Plus, the material was rather thin and the edges a little frayed. A huge disappointment. I purchased another pair on Amazon that rose above the knee, although not as high as these, but the quality was infinitely better. Particularly when I have something good to compare these to, I can honestly say I would not recommend anyone buying them.
