New Favourite Body Wash
This was initially a gift given to me; as soon as I finished the initial bottle I had placed my order for the others (Full and Skimmed)I love the smell and how soft it makes my dry awful skin, I’m not even kidding. It’s so bubbly and soft like you’re being cuddled in a lather of cotton when I have a shower. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to drugstore body wash ever again. Oh, and when I ran out of shampoo while on holiday, I used this and did not have any problem. 15/10 would recommend, not enough stars available to give it more than 5

Nice smell and feel pleasantly smooth after washing
This review is for Byre Full Cream Body Wash Unisex, 30 g which I received free to write a review for.The label states 96% of the ingredients are naturally derived but when you look at the list of ingredients, all you can see is a list of chemicals and I can see that this might make some people concerned. For example, one reviewer wrote ‘One of the main ingredients is sodium laureth sulfate, which, whilst not as damaging as SLS, can cause severe irritation…’My research on this told me that SLS (for this example) IS sodium laureth sulfate, while SLES is sodium lauryl ether sulfate (Wikipedia). From Wikipedia:Sodium laureth sulfate is derived from palm kernel oil or coconut oil.Tests in the US indicate that it is safe for consumer use. The Australian government's Department of Health and Ageing and its National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme (NICNAS) have determined SLES does not react with DNA. [2] However, the related surfactant SLS (Sodium laureth sulfate) is a known irritant. [4][5][6][7].So some people may develop some skin irritation, but the advice would be to stop using the body wash and it should be okay. SLS is very widely used throughout the cosmetic industry.Sodium benzoate (another of the ingredients) is a substance which is a widely used food preservative. It is also used as a preservative in medicines and cosmetics.[5][6] In the United States, sodium benzoate is designated as generally recognized as safe (GRAS) by the Food and Drug Administration.[21] The International Programme on Chemical Safety found no adverse effects in humans at doses of 647–825 mg/kg of body weight per day.[22][23] The human body rapidly clears sodium benzoate. (Wikipedia)So, chemicals aside, I feel £5 is a little more than I would like to spend on a 250ml body wash, but it does lather well and you don’t need a lot. I started with small dollops then worked up in size until I could get a decent lather going. You can wash your hair with it and it rinses out with a squeaky sound which should mean there is no residue left behind.A little carries a long way, it has a pleasant smell, and my skin definitely feels smoother afterwards and I didn’t notice and greasy feeling at all.I gave it 4 stars since I’m a little tight with money and this is normally more than I would spend.

Great for sensitive skin!
Lovely body wash.I've used this now for a few days in a row. I naturally have sensitive skin, this has not caused me any issues at all.Comes out very creamy. Very silky soft. Moisturises perfectly. The scent is absolutely gorgeous.I would definitely recommend. Beautiful body wash cream.

Deliciously smooth skin
This is a dreamy, creamy, 'full fat' body wash made from whey, derived from cows milk and containing lots of other completely natural ingredients including oatmeal which I always choose for my hand creams as it is known for making your skin soft and supple with lasting effects. The bottle itself isn't massive and priced at £5 each it's a very indulgent item and would prove expensive to buy on a regular basis though the results are amazing. The product is creamy and feels gorgeous on the skin, my body instantly felt softer and moisturised and looked after and the delicious vanilla scent is almost good enough to eat! Even my Partner commented on how lovely my skin felt after showering and this has continued through to the next day with no added moisturiser. This is a gorgeous product and a real treat, I'll be using this once a week in the shower to try and make it last longer to give my skin a moisture boost, especially in this cold weather and with the use of central heating my skin tends to suffer from dryness! Highly recommended for dry skin or skin that needs looking after and deserve a treat! Utterly gorgeous.

Smells and feels lovely
This body wash feels and smells amazing and it has helped with hydrating my skin. The bottle is a good size 250ml and it's really easy to dispense. The body wash has a nice silky feeling to it and smells abit like yoghurt .The good thing about this product is that the manufacturer uses 96% of natural products .

Quirky Product, Naturally Derived Skimmed Moisturising Body Wash
This a very quirky body wash by Byre. The body wash is made from whey power produced by British cows and enriched with vitamins and oils for skin health and moisturisation. The products follow the naming scheme when buying milk, Skimmed, Semi-Skimmed and Full Fat – also adopting the specific colours that you’d find on the tops of milk bottles which is very clever and quirky. The body wash is made from 96% natural derived ingredients, and does not contain a load of harsh chemicals and cleaning agents that normal body washes contain. The Skimmed variant is notably thinner than the Semi-Skimmed version and has less viscosity. It has a light fragrance and is white in colour. Actually, using the product, the I did not find this product is as good as cleaning my body as much as my regular Lynx shower gel. Washing and scrubbing for the same amount of time, the product doesn’t lather very well so you can’t spread it effectively, and I didn’t feel fully clean and refreshed using this body wash. Even after a second pass, I still didn’t feel clean and had to resort back to my regular shower gel to wash myself properly. That being said, this isn’t a bad product and I would recommend using it as an ‘after’ body wash – use your normal product and use this body wash afterwards to remove any chemical residue and moisturise your skin.If you found the photos & this review helpful, please consider clicking on the helpful button below, it helps me out!
