works great, can feel it's great quality and don't expect to need a replacement any time soon! also less expensive here than in jewelry supply websites.

This is my second time purchasing it as i love its sharpness and it cut straight without leaving a burr and I am happy that my order arrived before the designated time.

Minus 2 stars because of false advertising. I bought these because the description says that the two halves are perfectly aligned and that you can adjust the screw to maintain alignment. It turns out that they are not perfectly aligned, and there is no screw to adjust, only a rivet. They do work well for the moment (hence the three stars instead of one), but so did my cheap ones, which I'm trying to replace because the misalignment started to make them unable to cut very thin things.

Solidly built pair of dykes. Good quality and a reasonable price. Works best on stranded wire.

Dose not open up enough for 14 AWG.
