While it's a nice looking runner, one of the biggest reasons I bought it was because the discription said it had a rubber backing.Well it doesn't & will require a non-slip carpet backing to be safe to use.This rug is supposed to be made of wool so it's not easily washable.I was going to send it back but once it was unpacked it will be difficult to get it properly rolled back up.

I had given up many months ago on finding a soft, low-pile, light gray area rug in an abstract pattern that would fit my new small bedroom, at a price I could afford. I'd been dealing with moving small rugs out of the way whenever I needed to pull out one of my under-bed drawers, and having trouble with the rugs moving around and being difficult to keep clean; finally decided to search again, and found this! I was even able to get one at $20 below the regular price as someone had returned it in perfect condition! This rug covers the worn hardwood floor beneath my bed and those big rolling drawers, most of the space from the front of my nightstands to the small chest against the wall at the foot of my bed, and extends out to the edges of my bookcases and dressers on the sides. Because the pile is so low, it doesn't get in the way of opening the door and doesn't make it too hard to roll out the under-bed drawers. It's got some weight to it and has flattened out quickly, but is thin and lightweight for its large size and wasn't too difficult to carry around, unroll and install, relatively speaking. Now my room looks much nicer and is just generally easier to live in! The pattern looks a little darker in my room than it does in the pics, and the gray is a little on the warm side, but still works well with my color scheme; the pile is not *quite* as soft as I was hoping for, but it's soft enough on my bare feet, and does add a bit of cushioning under my two little faux-fur throw rugs (one at the side where I get out of bed in the morning and one at the foot of the bed), as well. I wish 4.5 stars was an option! Overall I'm very pleased and would definitely recommend it.

I thought the texture and pattern would be prettier

smells bad. takes about a week ventilating in garage to leave all the fume out to be able to use it. It didn't unroll flat, so we have to use heavy objects to flatten/hold it down.

This nuLOOM area rug looks like good quality, but instead of being 5 ft. long as advertised and needed, it is 5'11" long. Luckily the rug is in a utility area next to a wall, where the extra length can be folded under and weighted down by filled boxes. Also it arrived rolled, not folded (NEVER order a folded rug!), and the price was deeply discounted, so I counted my blessings and am keeping it. ••• UPDATE: Turns out this rug is ideal for a cat litter-box area, as it's easy to vacuum up the scattered litter. The plastic type mats sold for the purpose catch and hold the litter, so to get it all out you have to take it outside and shake it. Cats say thumbs up for this rug which is soft on their feet after the crystal litter.

This rug is super thin and zero cushion so it’s like walking on my hardwood floors with a sock basically. It’s beautiful and vacuums up super nice. I may have to buy a pad for under it.

shipping took a full 2 weeks, and it took a good week for the rug to unfurl and stay down, but it is a nice throw rug and densely woven

I purchased this 2x3 rug for my garage door entry (also purchased the larger 4x6 size for my front door entry).The colours are great as I'm using it during the fall and winter and wanted a darker colour to hide dirt a bit more (I use lighter colour rugs in the spring/summer). The back of the rug is very stiff. I've had these for approx 1.5mo and at least one corner on each rug is ALWAYS curled a tad which bothers me. It's because the backing has a stiff grid of material glued on it... which is standard for cheaper rugs. I wouldn't say this is worth the price at all because of that. Also, both rugs have ravels in the yarn that is stitched around the perimeter of the rug. This is how they came.If you purchase this rug and plan to use it on hardwood, make sure you buy an underpad because not only does the rug slip really easily because of the backing and how light weight it is, the backing will scratch your hardwood.

there is no type of no slip backing on the hallway runner. it has been in my hallway for a week now, and there are still ripples along the full length of the carpet. its like the edging was sewn too tight and this bubbled up the carpet. definitely wouldn't order this again. will look for a different carpet for this spot and put this in the basement entry way.

Lovely runner, soft, however the creases from the rolling are not flattening and it is a tripping issue. Runner slides even on broadloom as soon as someone walks on it, need to have rubberized backing. I is in light traffic area but wears down quickly.

I really like the color, texture, and length of the rug. However, it doesn't lie flat on the floor. It's kind of humpy and bumpy like a caterpillar.

Looks absolutely nothing like the picture! In the picture, you get the idea that the carpet is more on the dark grey side - it's not. It's more white. Flat, not soft, and so slippery on the laminate floor. I had to return it - not fun dragging a carpet to the postal office. Would not recommend.
