So glad I did my research and got this
Not a single fault or improvement needed. The one thing I was surprised by in a good way is that the alarm will turn off after 15 seconds if left alone, which is great for neighbours/etc. Obviously it will not go off if not left alone. The lock sensitivity is perfect, not too sensitive like the faulty Xena and definitely goes off when bike is moved. I got this one instead of the heavy duty (14 mm) version because its 120 Decibels where as the 14 mm is 110 decibels and larger to carry around (Supersport so low storage), plus bolt cutters aren't getting to the 10 mm shaft so the 14 mm is not necessary. Ahh, not 100% waterproof but I trust it like 99.99% waterproof, especially if not poured on directly. The way I have it positioned on my wheel is that no rain gets on it at all (CBR). Tested in the rain already and perfect. You are getting an Artago lock for half the price for marketing purposes (Artago owns Urban). No brainer, worth it.

over all seems nice, but not quite as loud as I expected
So this thing wasn't suppose to have many false alarms, but it does seem sort of sensitive and triggers all on it's own.. I thought it was because of how I mounted it touching the brake when I first attached it, but upon moving it, it still seemed to be really sensitive and would go off randomly while sitting on the bike. I should say that my first and only time using this so far was at a local motorcycle rally so it could just be all the other bikes with loud pipes setting it off, but we'll see. over all seems nice, but not quite as loud as I expected, but looks to do the job none the less.

Feels very heavy and secure. Doesn't seem like it would be easy to break off (although I'm sure expect thieves would manage). Fits easily on rotors of my ZX6-R, as well as in the trunk.Pros:Feels secureComes with 3 keysCase is nice I guess, although I don't use itAlarm doesn't go off randomly as other brand product reviews often mention (on other hand, that could means its less secure). Can't comment on how loud it is since I've managed not to set it off yet (after a month of use)Cons:- I deducted 1 star because I find this very annoying: in order to enable the alarm feature you need to press in twice with your key. Then it beeps to let to you. The really stupid problem is when you press twice again to disable the alarm it give you exactly the same beep. Summary being *you have no way of knowing if the alarm is enabled or disabled* This would be really easily fixed with either a LED indicator, or with different numbers of beeps.- is large but thats also a pro- is expensive

Device works great, but the guys at Artago were fantastic
Device works great, but the guys at Artago were fantastic. Helped me find a unit that would work with my disc brake set up. Two thumbs up.

The product is as described and works very well. The instructions are clear and complete. The packaging of the product had been cut open prior to shipping so I am not sure if everything was included. But the shipping box itself was very well packed and not damaged.

Good feeling to know this is on my motorcycle.
Feel good about having this on my motorcycle. Just wish the alarm was a little louder but still think loud enough to make someone think twice about stealing my motorcycle.

Four Stars
aside from being large and heavy its seems to work very well.

The UR10 is an outstanding motorcycle alarm and brake disc lock!
I'm writing such a nice/long review here because I want to help out my fellow riders first and foremost, and also because I couldn't find any reviews for this product when looking for a good motorcycle security solution. My 2014 Harley V-Rod was recently stolen from outside my own house, even though it had a security chip on the bike to disable the engine (no alarm on the bike though or I likely would have heard the thief and I'd have come out shooting), so anyways, thieves still managed to take my bike. I'm sure we all know, that if someone really wants to steal your bike they'll get it...but with products like this Urban UR10 motorcycle alarm/lock, it at least makes it a little harder and also motivates thieves to move on to something easier instead of bothering with your bike...and I believe this product will definitely help stop theft or people playing with your bike. Also, I did NOT get paid for this review or receive a free product for this review (wish I did though ;p *nudge nudge manufacturer*).The actual Urban UR10 here is an EXCELLENT product and I highly recommend it to any rider and for any bike (so long as 10mm is big enough for your rotors).I'm using this brake lock on my 'new-to-me' 2003 Honda CBR600RR and it fits around the rotor perfectly, and also fits well into the rear seat storage area of my bike so I can take it with me and lock my bike wherever I go. Supposedly, this manufacturer also sells a storage mount to attach this UR10 lock to your bike if you don't have any under-seat storage or saddle bags on your bike.Five things that you should know right off the bat about this product:1) This product is a sister brand (SAME COMPANY) as ARTAGO Security Group! If you haven't heard of Artago, then you should have. Artago's locks from what I've seen, read, been told, are generally superior than the XENA brand locks...Artago motorcycle alarms and locks are also usually very expensive though...seeing as how this Urban UR10 lock is made by Artago for a less-expensive price, I had to try it. I'm happy to say that this Urban UR10 lock/alarm is just as high-quality as any Artago lock I've ever seen or read about. The only difference with the Urban lock I think is that the metal texture and surface-finish is a little more 'rough' than the main Artago brand, whereas the Artago locks have a super smooth and polished-steel-look and feel to them. That isn't to say that this Urban UR10 is any less safe to use or high-quality though...the UR10 feels heavy and is most definitely heavy-duty and high-quality. I believe the appearance and name-brand is why we're saving money by buying the Urban brand instead of the Artago brand...and once again, this UR10 has undergone the same testing as the Artago locks and is JUST as secure.2) This product is actually made in Europe, not China like the XENA locks.3) This product has undergone NF-FFMC homologation testing and approval (note that the product below the UR10 [the Urban UR6], does NOT have this certification)...this NF-FFMC homologation approval means that the lock is stupid-strong and will NOT be easily broken or removed by a theif.4) This product has an outstanding gyro/vibration alarm sensor that works VERY well and it does NOT have an IR sensor or mirror, or anything to that degree, which could cause the alarm to malfunction and go off for no reason (like the XENA locks commonly do)... I haven't tested this alarm while a motorcycle cover is on my bike to see if the wind moving the cover causes the alarm to go off or "false-positive" yet, but I'd say that the alarm is NOT so sensitive that minor vibrations will set it off and annoy your neighbors all the time. It really does feel that the alarm is "tuned" to go off at just the right vibrations and movements. The alarm IS loud too, and I park my bike about 300 to 400 feet from my house and I'm still easily able to hear it under almost all conditions of external noise going on. I also like the feature where when the alarm is first tripped by a minor movement, it lets off a few warning beeps and then goes quiet (again doesn't annoy the neighbors), however if you keep moving the bike/alarm or thrash the alarm from the get-go, the alarm will go off in full force and must be turned off by you inserting and turning your alarm/lock key. You can even choose to arm the alarm (or not) by inserting your key once and locking the device (for no alarm), or inserting your key and pushing the key down twice (to arm the alarm) when locking it.5) The UR10 is water RESISTANT, I can't say waterPROOF yet, or how well it holds up in water yet because I live in Southern California and we haven't had rain for awhile...but what I CAN say though is that I took apart the unit as soon as I got it to see where the battery goes; and the electronics that go into this device look to be very secure from thieves trying to break the alarm, also the electronics are all completely sealed with nowhere for water to seep-in. The actual alarm piece of this unit is a small and fully sealed "cube" that fits securely into the UR10. The battery obviously lives inside of this little electronic 'cube' and the battery cover is a very tight and well-built piece of rubber that definitely looks like it will keep out a lot of rain/water. I completely dunked the entire electronic 'box' into a cup of water twice and the unit still worked perfectly fine afterwards, so I'm pretty sure this unit will hold up under lots of water. Why did I choose the Urban UR10 over a XENA alarm/lock? Well I admit that it looks like Xena has a good all-around product, and in my opinion nothing else compares to the features of Xena, or Urban/Bunker, or Artago. I also had a hard time finding a real review from anyone before buying this UR10 product and I almost didn't buy it because I couldn't find anything outside of the generic manufacturer ads for the UR10 and one random YouTube video of a guy in a foreign language simply arming the unit...I could be wrong, but I might be the first real online review for this... I really didn't want to buy a XENA unit either, as after reading some poor reviews about the XENA brand disc locks actually failing and braking in half by a thieves attack (maybe that's just Xena's older products but whatever, left a bad taste in my mouth), and more importantly I frequently read that the XENA alarms eventually go on the fritz and always go off when they shouldn't be going off (as they use some kind of finicky sensors that require line of sight and need to be CLEANED to function properly, per the XENA's own website and FAQ's), so I said, 'no thank you, Xena'...plus XENA is made in China and I still don't feel you get high quality products from China...at least nothing I want to trust my entire motorcycle to.*Lastly, this product does NOT come with what's called a "reminder cable", so I suggest you buy one! **With ANY disc brake lock, I believe that you NEED a REMINDER CABLE, where one end of the cable loops around the brake disc lock, and the other end of the reminder cable loops around your handle bar/throttle, or somewhere you'll be sure to see the cable when you sit down and try move your bike, as per the name, the reminder cable REMINDS you to remove your brake disc lock. If you try to ride away while the disc lock is on your bike, you will certainly not get far, and you'll also likely injure yourself or others, and can really damage your bike pretty bad. You might ask yourself, why should I get a reminder cable if this product already has an alarm on it, won't the alarm will surely go off if I try to move the bike, therefore I'll remember to take the disc lock off? Yes, the alarm might go off...BUT...I submit this to you...what if you FORGET to arm the alarm the last time you put the brake disc lock on your bike? Or worse, but less likely (however still possible), what if the battery dies after you mounted the disc lock to the bike and armed it, and you come back to your bike and try to drive away on it and the alarm doesn't go off to remind you it's on there? You'll damage your bike and fall off if you try to ride on your bike while this alarm is mounted on it and you forget to remove it; that's what'll happen. So again, you NEED a REMINDER CABLE. I bought the Urban reminder cable as well, it was inexpensive and it works perfectly for my needs and also goes with me everywhere this UR10 lock goes. When I have time, I'd like to come back here and post a few photos and even a short video on how this product works along with how I'm using it for my particular application. I hope this review helps all of my fellow-riders out there. Good luck and safe riding! I hope your bike never gets stolen.

Pedazo de heavy metal sensible al tacto ¡Impresionante!
The media could not be loaded.

Don’t buy cheaper or weaker, this one can’t be simply split like those. Great value.
Very strong and can’t be forcibly broken like cheaper ones, alarm loud to deter and remind you it’s on if you try to move.

Measure the diameter of the vent holes on the brake discs of your machine before buying
Bought this item but I have discovered that I cannot use it on the brake discs fitted on my scooter as the locking pin's diameter is bigger than the vent holes

Cumple ampliamente su función.
The media could not be loaded.
