Moose blank decks are made of 100% Rock-Hard Canadian Maple from one of the premier manufacturers in the world. They have a representative at the factory that ensures only the best decks that will become a Moose Skateboard Deck. The ones that didn't reach the desired quality, are sold to everyone else. "Blank Deck" refers to absence of a graphic on the bottom, and says nothing about the quality of the wood itself. Originally "blank decks" were blems and therefore weren't printed. They were then sold at discounted pricing. Today, "blank decks" are out selling graphic decks in many areas. Beware that all "blank decks" are not created equal. Many people sell blems(seconds), and sell them at a super low prices, because that is that they worth, very little. Others buy whatever decks they can get cheap!!! For example Chinese Maple wedged between plies of Canadian Maple to hide it's appearance and lower the cost. Be careful in purchasing "blank decks" lower quality will result in ply fatigue & delamination, and your need to replace this poor quality product. If it doesn't have the Moose seal of approval, then your not skating the best.

They're cheap for a reason.
I bought these to be used for custom painted wall art, so I didn't need the best quality decks. The finish quality is definitely lacking on these, and will get sanded off before I do anything with them. I haven't had the delamination issues that some people have had, but it is concerning to me when thinking about the long term durability even though they'll never be used as a skateboard.

great quality!
bought these to make a shelf for my vans shoes, and they came much faster than expected, and are very high quality. I would recommend them to anyone, as an art project, or as a legitimate skate deck. very solid wood.

Great for art
Mine were purchased to paint. For what I needed and paid for, they are perfect. I would not skate these decks. Its like a $20 deck, it would get shredded after one session at the park.Buy for show, not to shred on.🤙

Horrible quality!
The absolute worst skateboards I have ever seen! 2 arrived already delaminating, another looked fine and the skated it 30 minutes and it started delaminating. They use cheap wood and even cheaper glue! Save your money go to your local shop!

Sturdy Deck! Good Quality
Got to my house in 3 days. Riding the first of 5 now! Sturdy board! I tend to slam my board down on rails for backside lip slides and kickflip front boards and and i can feel how flimsy a board is with those tricks. With this board i didnt feel any give locking in to my tricks. Super sturdy jumping down an 8 stair as well!

Had to repaint them to make them useable
There were clearcoat stripes all over them, both sides. At first I thought it was transfer from the shrinkwrap and would wipe off. It wasnt. Also Lots of pitting and bumps. I do vinyl graphics and require colored background of the board, which was a problem with all those lines, it looked terrible. I didnt have time to send back and wait for more boards that are likely the same problem. So i had to repaint them myself, defeating the whole point of buying these. I used to buy them all the time last year, they were great. Now quality control is out the window. A couple marks i woulda overlooked, but it was all over the boards.

Bought these for skateboarding lessons for beginner kids.
Bought these for a skate schools beginner kids lessons. They serve their purpose well. And being neon orange, more neon than shows in the pic! We can easily spot who has borrowed one of our boards. Already ordered 5 more.
