I'll be on the Beach this summer! (and 25 pounds lighter!)
I've been on South Beach since January and have lost 25 pounds (and hubby is down almost 30 pounds). I love this plan and find it a very healthy way to live.I just received this book. While there are some recipes in here that include ingredients I don't normally stock, I see LOTS of recipes that look quick, easy, and use common ingredients. I am planning to try about 50-75% of the recipes total. Simple, Easy, Wonderful Recipes ~ South Beach Works
I highly recommend the South Beach Diet ~ The only drawback to this diet is coming up with creative menu's, hence the need for the specialized Cookbooks. This one is GREAT! I'm only going to list the Phase 1 recipe's, as that is the most difficult phase, so you know if you like those recipes, your going to be fine with Phase 2 or 3. There are suggested Menus, but just by my list, you know you'll easily be able to make it out of Phase 1 painlessly. Loved the menu plans. And nice variety of recipes. The authors/doctors philosophy spot on.

Vegetarian Options
I was trying to find a review somewhere that mentioned whether or not there were vegetarian options. I couldn’t, so I took a chance. This book has a whole chapter dedicated to vegetarian recipes, so I’m very happy.

Mmmmmm yummy!
I was not too optimistic about this book because I found the original SB diet recipes to be too time and money consuming w/too many ingredients that were not in my cupboard. So I flipped through this initially and the photo were awesome, but again I did not let that excite me.So this weekend we tried our first recipe, the Spicy Chicken Tacos. I had pretty much everything on hand, aside from some spices. I could not believe how delicious they were! And more importatnly so very filling. Even my husband, who has a large appetite thought they were extremely filling.The next day we had the breakfast "pizzas" - eggs on pita with sauteed spinach. Again - fantastic and easy!I also made the blackberry cups for a BBQ and they were a huge hit - and so simple.So far we're 3 for 3 and I cannot wait to try more recipes.I also love the last section which is summer drinks. I always find it difficult to enjoy a nice refershing beverage in the summer because they are all so full of sugar - this book has a great selection.Follow-up 1 week later: This week we made the crab cakes, jalapeno turkey burgers, and the spicy fish tacos (we used tilapia instead of seabass). OMG they were all so freakin' delicious and EASY!!! I cannot pick a favorite because they were just all so yummy. I am loving this cookbook!

South beach diet
Really useful book. All recipes are really tasty and you don't feel like you are on the diet! Would recomend it to anyone who wants to loose wait and/or wants to change their lifestyles. I love it

Lost 40kg!!!
This book is written by Americans hence some of the ingredients are not easy to find. Nonetheless the book beautifully links in with phase 123 of the diet. I have in turn lost 40kg.

Some lovely recipes
Nicely illustrated and some delicious looking summer recipes. Although I haven't tried out many of them yet it is going to be helpful with keeping to the diet!!

This is actually healthy, delicious eating.
So far so good - we've only cooked the yogurt marinated lamb and the bulgur with cucumbers and tomatoes. What I wish this book did was provide serving size, instead of just saying how many people eat it. All the recipes look delicious and I find it totally refreshing. I needed this book last winter! It also arrived really quickly and in good condition.
