Overall width and width of the heated area is too small for large/wide feet
Before ordering, I sent messages to the manufacturer asking specifically about the overall dimensions & size of the heated area. I was particularly concerned about the latter because I'd seen several other similar products that only had a fairly narrow heated strip in the forefoot area, meaning the very parts that get coldest (toes) have no heat. The seller told me the 2nd & 5th photos in the listing are pretty accurate. The seller also told me these insoles are 32cm (12.6") long, and based on their product photos, that translates into width of 11cm (4.33"). The insoles I received were slightly smaller than that, but the main problem (for me) was the width was only about 4 inches instead of 4.33. That might have been OK if the heated area was as large as shown in the photos, but it isn't. Take a look at the photos I uploaded.Another problem I had with these was the smell. It was overpowering chemical smell right out of the box. Even the empty box reeked of that smell. The insoles stank even worse when they were powered on. People walking by actually commented on the smell, even though the insoles were inside my shoes. Eventually the smell diminished somewhat, but it never went away completely during the two weeks I tried to use these. But the real problem for me was that the heated area is so far from the perimeter that it left the coldest parts of my feet unheated, at the same time the heated section was getting uncomfortably hot (if on high). I understand that they have to compromise the size of the heated area in order for these to be 'one-size-fits-all' but in my case, the too-small heated area was the bigger deal-breaker for me, and I returned them.On the plus side, these did heat up pretty fast, got plenty hot, and the batteries are lightweight and they do provide several hours of run-time. These might work out OK for someone with much smaller (particularly narrower) feet than my 12-4E feet, and if you're sitting out in very cold temps (e.g.: sitting in a tree stand), these are certainly better than no heat at all.

Short Lifespan
Purchased these for a winter season of skiing in Colorado. Insoles were easy to cut and fit inside ski boots, and they also get nice and warm. However, one battery pack stopped working after only one day of skiing. The second battery pack didn't last much longer and stopped working after 3 days. The LED indicators show they're on, but there's no heat generated. The insoles still work great if I plug them into a USB 5V wall outlet, but they're pretty much useless without the battery packs. Not recommended for anything other than occasional use.

Works well for me!
I wear muck boots and work outside in North Dakota. It drops to -40 here quiet often. My feet get cold and that makes for a miserable day at work! These things are warm...like so warm I had to turn them down. My toes were burning, but in a good way! The only thing I dont like is the battery strap. It is uncomfortable. I did manage to strap them around the outside of my boots and that worked well for me. All in all they are warm and will keep your toes warm on a cold day!

Good product
These lasted all for 4 hours when hunting one morning. I came inside before the battery ran out. They have great battery life. They were easy to shape and insert into my boots. Very warm. The only inconvenient part is where the controls are when you are bundled up in hunting attire.

Low Quality Batteries
I bought these warmers because I'm a diabetic snowboarder and I need to keep my feet warm throughout the day. They worked fine my first day out, but after my next round on the hill the micro-USB port on one of the batteries detached from the circuit board and is inoperable

Gift purchase
Purchased for a gift, so didn't wear them myself but seems to be a good set of warmers. The only thing I'm not fond of is the battery pack that straps to your ankles is alittle bulky.

Too small for taller than average people
Insoles hook via wires to battery packs that you wear in little Velcro holster things around your calves. First off, wires are too short if you have any kind of height. Velcro holsters are not big enough to go around your calves so they end up cutting your circulation if you want them to fit. Will be returning.

Get them for hunting!
I hunt in the cold winters through the end of December. I was not expecting the batteries to last in the cold for up to 4 hours but they did! I have very wide feet and have large boots due to that(size 13), the front up by the toes doesn’t quite cover the whole front width of my foot but still comfortable altogether.
