The Addiction Workbook: A companion guide for success in treatment of substance use disorder

My daughter is in treatment right now in Pine City MN. Her counselor has suggested that she use the book for study rather than the path that they had laid out for her when she came there a week ago. I bought this for her when she relapsed. Hoping it would help. She gets out of treatment in a few weeks.

This is an easy read, informative and straightforward book about addiction. Dr. Labor talks about how addiction is a disease and how the brain is affected and works. I can tell you I will read it again and again to keep myself alert when dealing with my addicted love ones.
