Great for having friends round
Played with this on Christmas Day after dinner at the table. The shock isn’t too strong (weak enough that everyone joined in) but still gives you a bit of a kick. Lots of laughter and definitely great game for a dinner party game when you’re still at the table.

Designed to go straight to the bin
The idea behind this electric hot potato is great and would surely have been lots of fun, if only it had worked! We bought two of these as stocking fillers, but the first had a faulty screw thread, which didn't allow the battery cover to stay in place. The second lasted a whole five minutes before conking out despite the new batteries, and never came back to life. Real disappointment for Xmas day... these were clearly made to go straight to the bin!

Good, fun little gadget
Opened early for Christmas. Great fun, gives a little zap but doesn't hurt. Would be hilarious with a few people. It has taken quite a few thumps but still working. Need a tiny screwdriver and 2xaaa batteries, once batteries in, place little stick thing in til it clicks, light comes on and ready to play. Good little gadget.

Great idea, quality not good.
Great product idea, unfortunately this one didn't work very well as I couldn't get the batteries out when needed so had to return it.

Don't do it!!!!
Right out of the box it looked old (not new). The toy looked like it was a few years old and it didn't work at all. This might have been a once off but reading other reviews I'm not sure.
