Smaller than the original. The fit was a little looser than what I would have liked. It seems to work OK.

leaks like crazy- Does not completely engage- Lugs/Dogs incorrect size- bought two, both leak- reinstalled old filter- No leaks- with old filter----- absolute crap-

Water tastes amazing, but the biggest win here is the cost. Not only does each one last longer than the brand name, but you also get 2 of them for less than half the cost of 1 Everpure. Enough said. Need to go a full 6-months for ultimate results, but if it continues to operate as it does, I can now afford to switch my filter out every 6-months and will sign up to get a further price reduction. Very excited by the purchase - as long as it holds up as long as stated. One note - the filter is much longer and thinner than the Everpure, so I had to raise the mount up a few inches. Not a big deal, but make sure you have the room on the wall under your sink, which I would find hard to believe you wouldn't unless you have some funky odd design.

At first, I could not find a replacement for my Everpure water filter. After ordering and waiting two weeks for shipment, I cancelled it after three weeks. It was only then that closer scrutiny of the Aquacrest models I realized they were touted as exact replacements for Everpure even though they looked considerably different. I placed the order for two at a cost about 20% less than the single Everpure model. It has now been in place for about two weeks and is producing clear tasty water as advertised. Note that initially the water comes out cloudy and clears up in your glass in a minute or so. This is due to the air left in the filter from manufacturing and takes several days to clear up completely. This is true of any previous filters I have used over the last 30 years.

Installed easily and for a fraction of the over priced cost of the aluminum OEM style cartridges.It’s a simple carbon filter just like the original so it’s expected to perform the same. There’s no magic or secret to this type of filter. Buy it and save a bunch of money.

I GOT THIS COUPLE FILTERS EXCITED TO SAVE. IT COST 75$ FOR 2 , AND ONE ORIGINAL EVERPURE COSTS 65$ . BUT : the ever-pure filter is for 11 months and these ones are for 6 month. so its either spending $75 for 12 months for 2 plastic filters , or spending $65 for 11 months for the metal everpure, which is spending wise exactly the same ,BUT here you dispose 2 plastic filter vs. one metal/aluminum filter which can be recycled., so the world pollution is more important. :-)
