Vermont Electric Fireplace Stove Insert with Remote Control - 3-D Effects and Crackling Fire (Black)

Fits perfectly inside our fireplace and adds a delightful, cozy sense of warmth to the room. Very realistic looking flames. We don't use the heat feature, although we may in the future. It could warm up a room quickly. When we turned on the heat, it had an unpleasant smell which I assume is just the new parts reacting to the heat. That will likely dissipate over time, should we decide to use it for heat. The recorded "crackling" sound doesn't really sound authentic, probably because it's not a very fancy speaker, so we won't be using that feature at all. However, we couldn't be happier with the fit and the look - it's a great addition to the room and is visually very soothing for the frayed nerves of these crazy times. At this price point, it is a good value.

I can’t express how we love this addition to our Great Room. This has been installed in our home in Arizona... not much of an area for a fireplace with heat. Before we received this fireplace, we had another manufacturer fireplace delivered. It didn’t function properly... it didn’t work at all. Returned it and ordered the e-flame. I am so happy we did. As you can see by the two pictures, it looks great off or on. I would recommend this fireplace to anyone who is looking for style and efficiency.

Higher heat and color change of the flame.

We’ve had it for a year in December. We are very careful to keep it dust free but over the last couple of weeks it has been shutting off when it’s very cold in the room. What is the problem?

Product was just too cheap looking for the price. There were NO fake logs just a picture of them. Ended up giving it away

If your looking for a 29" fireplace insert this is the best one. It fits in perfectly. The flames and crackling looks and sound real. The weather is crazy hot right now however I did turn on the heater just for a few seconds and lots of heat was pouring out. I have to also mention the delivery was supper quick. I order one day and got it the next day.

came damaged, sellers wanted me to produce pictures of damage and said it was up to them if i could return it.. the crackling sound it makes is annoying and the look of a bunch of lit up coals with no flame is not appealing.. will definately not buy from this seller again
