It's a jigsaw puzzle and not for outdoor use
I just needed a new inline switch for one of my indoor lamps. Never would I consider this for outdoor use regardless of the description. That said, I was surprised to receive the switch and find it completely disassembled. Every part that was removable, was. I expected to open it in order to install the wiring but not completely assemble it first. No instructions are included.

Great in-line Switch
I used these to turn off & on our patio lights that I have plugged into an outlet. Switch is perfect, but it was a little complicated to install. The terminations are very small and cheap (as able to make work and use) and the room inside the switch is very tight.

In line switch
Inside of switch housing has some structural supports that limit the gauge of wire that can be used. I had a difficult time “threading” my wires through the housing. Once done, switch works fine.

Good value
Good quality product, terminals a little too thin

Seems to work quite well
This item helps relieve my stiff neck and shooting pain into my arm. It is easy to put on and pump up. I leave it on for an hour or two and get relief from a pinched nerve. For the affordable price it works great.

NOT WEATHERPROOF! Dangerous!
We used this item to replace a broken switch on a small outdoor tabletop water fountain. We purchased the switch last March. We only use it in Florida, under an awning, January through March so it's only had about 3 months usage. The rubber fittings (seal?) where the wires pass through to the switch are open, allowing moisture in.Suddenly, my husband started getting small shocks if he touched the wires when turning the fountain on. Then we heard POP POP, and the switch was boiling hot! The inside of the switch had melted, (see photo) and apparently was arching. This could have burned our home down.We believe this should be pulled off the market as a safety concern. It is marketed as waterproof, and it's not.

Safest if you solder the connections
For a good and safe connection, the wires should be soldered to the brass tags. As long as you’re happy with a soldering iron, this is a good product.

CHEAP
Pretty cheap, one CLAMSHELL screw snapped off when assembling, still works but looks sad and loose. Screws are cheap and flimsy.
