Lovely Present
I bought this for my Grandad as a Christmas present. I've seen these advertised in a shop but never picked one up. So was delighted to find one here.Stewarts is a lovely brand of biscuits and well worth the price. Especially with the tin.I ordered this from Amazon themselves (not a third party seller). I sent a query about the expiry date of the biscuits and they got back almost immediately explaining they needed to contact their fulfillment centre. A couple of days after that they kindly gave the the expiration date. Which, when my item came in the post, was spot on. So I recommend you doing this if you are unsure or worry which I do. ;)Back to the tin,When it arrived it was carefully packaged and a plastic sleeve/bag had been placed over it ensuring there were no marks, scratches or dust on the tin. The tin was gloriously shiny and the spitfire image was very crisp and slightly embossed. All in all, I think this is a beautiful item and recommend it to shortbread lovers or people who would love a well designed tin to keep their other biscuits in.The tin is approximately: 27cm in width, 21cm in length and 5cm in depth.A lovely product :)

luscious biscuits
seriously luscious shortbread biscuits, extremely moreish, taste homemade. takes me back to my childhood when me and my sister janice used to bake shortbread from a recipe in her be-ro book.beautiful painting of a spitfire aircraft in flight on top of tin. reminds me of how our heroes kept these british isles free of hitler's tyranny and how brave those men were. my aunty maudie who was in the a.t.s operated the big guns in sunderland harbour, known as the black cats, which is the nickname for sunderland afc. as my uncle alby said to me of his younger sister maudie "beautiful things come in small packages," as she wasn't tall. it's not the size of the dog in the fight that counts: it's the size of the fight in the dog.never forget.

Ideal gift for those who like planes or collect aircraft items. Fudge a bonus!
Very happy with them had bought quite similar tin of biscuits with plane picture which was a larger size. Only thing I thought the tins would be a larger size but happy with the contents. Those I bought as a gift for they are into planes and the fudge is a bonus.

Broken biscuits
Had to throw the biscuits away and replace them with a supermarket packet. Tin is nice though, dad liked it.

bad package protection resulted in damaged tin and cookies broken
Tin arrived dented and cookies broken. Why is there a no return policy? Damaged goods are not acceptable!

A bit rich for strong mint flavoured "Fisherman's Friends"
Product details on Amazon.com.au indicate unit weight to be 50g and there to be six (6) items for the price which in Australia is about $33.50 AUD. The delivery arrived promptly but to my surprise there were NOT six items but one nice little 40g tin of mints. The little tin is very Classy and will be used to make up an EDC kit. BUT ~ $33.50 for a tiny tin of so called luxury mints is absurd at about $840 AUD per kg. Had I known it was ONLY one tin and not six unit items as indicated I would not have bought these mints. As for the nature of the mints, if you are still interested in parting a lot of cash for a single 40g tin of mints, they look, feel and taste just like strong mint flavour Fisherman's Friends, which I don't regard as very luxurious or pleasant; but good for clearing the sinuses. So nearly $33.50 for a nostalgic little tin with a nice Spitfire on the lid containing "Fisherman Friends style" lozenges inside...I'm sure it is a bit rich BUT not luxurious. Sorry. Disappointed and feeling ripped off.100% for speed of delivery. 0% for value and accuracy of product information.PS. NOT EVEN BRITISH BUT MADE IN NETHERLANDS if that matters.
