Great for the price. Recommended.
Does what it’s meant too. For the price this is great. The only slight draw back is that it slides down when you close the lid but nothing that would annoy you. Very good for the price.

Size does not fit properly. A bit too small.
This screen has clearly not been designed for a 13 inches Macbook Pro specifically. It kind-of fits but the size is too small so you have to adjust the screen regularly.

It's ok ....
It makes the screen a bit darker but wouldn't say its amazing for example the privacy phone screen protectors this compares nothing to them I would only value this product at £10 not 30.. Sorry

it does its job However
if fits well with the MacBook pro 13" however from the bottom it doesn't stick to the screen which make the bottom of the screen a bit blurry.

I like it by price but not very good product
There is only a problem that it does not stick well from the bottom of the protector which blur the screen from the bottom.

Easy to attach; works at medium brightness
When I read the description - keyword Magnetic - I thought the ARCANITE Magnetic Privacy Screen Filter could be a panacea solution to my privacy needs - and open up working on the train again.Getting it from its simple packaging; affixing it to my laptop was super simple; I can't fathom how it could take more than a few seconds for anyone - you put black edge with the cut out at the top of your screen. There is no aligning it fits perfectly inside the rubber ring on the outside of the screen. The camera goes in the cutout so you can still use it (if you want too). That it affixes by magnets is genius; and far better than other solutions work has forced on me from Kensington that affix via stickers on the side. Such a great idea and so simple to use.The photos do show that full brightness the screen protector doesn't work; you can still get a good view of the screen from a wide angle. Dropping the brightness to half all but fixes that.As with other privacy shields this is a polaroid style film you are placing over the screen; and it does reduce sharpness. Also you are wanting to edit your latest vogue photo shoot on the train this isn't going to cut it. If you are doing sensitive office tasks it works just fine; just so long as no one can get behind you. Then my perfect reality crashed down. As the photos linked to the review will show (specifically the front edge of my closed MacBook;) there is a flaw - you can't close the case with the privacy screen in place -and there isn't a case to put it in to secure it in travel so its going to get scratched. If the magnets were a hair thinner or there was some kind of paper sleeve to put it in for transport it would have been perfect. Taking it out and putting it in a laptop bag when the instructions suggest you keep it away from abrasive things is a disaster. For now its 3* - if you have a way to protect it that works for you and you need the privacy it's a great solution. Just dim the screen a Little. This is one of those cases where labelling the photos would have helped : there are photos at full and half brightness. The full brightness image shows the amazon site from an angle. There are the photos showing the thickness of the magnetic strip and that my laptop won't close :(

Good Idea with a few noticeable shortcomings...
The product itself does the job it's supposed to do, and is super easy to fit and remove. It slips onto the screen and holds itself in place magnetically, and can just as easily be removed! Which I find very good, as after using it for a couple of days I did just that, removed it.The reasons why I don't want to keep it on my MacBook everyday:1/ The Size: It only covers the screen of the MBP, and not all of the the glass. I would have liked this product better if it went all the way to the bezel, instead of leaving a gap. Although it does cover all of the screen, the 5mm gap on each size just seems like it shouldn't be there.2/Viewing Angle: The paperwork says that the viewing angle after the product is applied is 60 degrees. Which is technically correct, because you can still see some things on your screen being 30 degrees to the left or right, but you can't see everything.I would say that the "optimal" viewing angle is probably closer to 30 degrees (15 to the left/right) before you start to lose visible information on the opposite side (if viewing 15 degrees from the right, the left third of the screen will start to go dark). By the time you go past 15 degrees, half of the screen is no longer visible.3/ Resolution: Most people are probably most impressed with their Retina Displays when it comes to their MBPs, but once this privacy screen is applied, you will probably be dropping down to 1080p. There's nothing wrong with 1080p, but if you have paid for a Retina Display, you probably want to see all of your resolution.4/ Screen Brightness: I use my MBP at about 60 - 75% brightness, (4-7 notches down from max), but when you put this privacy screen on, you have to go up by 2 notches (12.5%) to get the same brightness as you had without it. Because I don't use my screen at max, this isn't as big an issue for me, but if you use your MBP at max screen brightness, you won't be happy at how much it dims with this on.Would I ever use it?? YES!If I know that I'm going to be using my MBP in a public place and working on something sensitive, I would definitely pop this on before leaving the house and remove it when I got home.Alternatively, the privacy screen comes in a plastic sleeve that I'm sure I could just leave in my laptop case without it getting damaged. The screen also has a cutout at the top so it doesn't block the webcam, which is probably great if you're video chatting in a public location and want to protect the privacy of the person you're talking to.The product does have its uses, but for me, it will only be on my screen rarely. Maybe less than 10% of my total screen use time.
