Defiant Princess: Boys of Oak Park Prep, Book 2

Awesome read!!!
We all trying to figure out who this Adam Price guy is when it comes to the five princes parents and Talia (mom) they all were in the photograph with Adam Price; it got me thinking maybe it Adena dad who knows until I read book 3.... to find out all the secrets. Because for one, Talia ended up in the same position as her mom “a car accident”.... but did her mom truly died. We don’t know because for one, Talia breaks were cut and no telling what she hit on her way to Finn house...I am still stuck on why do Adena hate her so much it doesn’t have anything to do with Mason at all because clearly when Mason was mean to her Adena was still coming for her... it has to be a reason; it’s either has something to do with this Adam Price guy or clearly Adena mom maybe...But I did figure that Elijah and Finn didn’t hate Talia as much as Mason and Cole did. Because I got that vibe before everything went to crap.... they always liked her; because I felt that they went along with everything Mason wanted until Elijah finally snapped when Talia came back... & him and Mason got to fighting which I liked because at least they finally stood for what they believe in no matter what Mason said.... plus all four are working on getting into good graces with Talia again. Not only that, I’m glad Talia and Leah finally started talking again and she’s (Leah) not bitter and mad at Talia for believing in whatever crap the princes had going on for her to stop hanging with Leah...With that being said, I cannot wait until they seek revenge on Adena and her crew because that girl was more horrible than the princes, though when I think about it, they are horrible too for what they did. But at least they stop. But for Adena to steal that notebook and drive from Talia book bag was messed up though I was waiting on Talia to drop the bomb on them for what they did so Adena thought it was okay to do it; thinking that the princes were going to stop talking to Talia but the joke is on her..... I’m just waiting for the revenge to bring Adena to her knees in the final book. Can’t wait to read it too...

Great!!
I’ve waited for this second book FOREVER. It did not disappoint. I loved the development of the characters and their connections with each other. I’ve felt attached to Talia from the very beginning and I was absolutely devastated by the ending of the first book. So, I was super excited for her to come back with a vengeance. That may or may not happen the way she intended, but I felt as if the boys were genuine with their apologies and I was thrilled with the way the story was progressing. My only complaint was that I never feel like the stories are long enough. The author probably could have cut some things and just made a standalone version for the trilogy. I also didn’t fully understand alllllll the mental dialogue Talia had with herself or how at one point it’s Monday and nothing happens that week so suddenly it’s three weeks later. It could have flowed a little better. There’s still some minor editing mistakes that were missed but it didn’t distract too much from the story.People are still angry over the similarities between this book and the Elite series by CM Stunich but I feel like this one is better written and much more mature compared to the other. There’s only so many ways you can write a RH bully romance. I don’t hold the similarities against the author.I CANNOT wait for the next one.*trigger warning*. This books contains talk of drugs/rehab and the heroine is sexually assaulted although it doesn’t escalate past clothes ripping and groping.

You go girl!!!! Can't wait for book three
Woo hoo! If book one blew your mind then just you wait! Talia had been cruelly and suddenly banished back to Idaho and thrust into foster care once more. Gone was the trusting innocent that left Oak Park. She was down but FAR from out. In this book we see her rise from the ashes like a Phoenix. Through all she's endured she used the hurt, betrayal and anger to make her strong. Out of the blue a glimmer of hope appears in the form of an expensive lawyer. Someone had paid for her services, and she was helping Talia become legally emancipated and gain some out her trust fund from her mother. What Talia didn't know was WHO footed the bill and set this in motion? And the LAST THING she expected was the judge ruling she'd have to return to Oak Park for her education. Watch out everyone, for she was not going to allow herself to be the victim again. Follow her journey back to The Princes...will she allow what happened to change her for the worst, or can she become stronger and grow? How would everyone react at her return? Could she finally learn why everything went down! What were the secrets behind her mother's past and the Prince 's vendetta? I cheered her on throughout every single page of this. Like with book one, be warned there ARE triggers in this book regarding physical and mental abuse. Oh and one heckuva cliffhanger leaving you begging for more! Brava Ms. Callie Rose... I can't wait to see what's next!!

Loved it
I always find the first book in a bully romance series the hardest, and the second has the means to make or break the series. Talia is still a strong character and I thought she showed growth and backbone in this book. Really happy with her character growth. I thought I might be disappointed with the revenge schemes but ultimately I was on side. The author does an amazing job bringing you along her POV and even though many questions are still in the air I can’t wait to find out the rest.

Thank goodness I waited till the entire series was out!
Cliff hanger ending!!! This book was even better than the first one. Still not a huge Mason fan but man I love Elijah & Finn. Overall this book was great, still so many questions left unanswered which has been grabbing for the third book with my grubby little hands.

Chapter not a book
Don’t bother reading this until the whole series is published...you won’t be able to figure out what is going on unless you read them all - they are not books but chapters of one book
