Field tested, Happily approved
I purchased these items to use for an "as needed emergency basis", they came solidly wrapped and also stored safely in a ziplock bag. I've always had my doubts about this style "blanket", I can remember back in the early 80's when they came out to be used as outside tanning beds. So putting my doubts on hold I opened one up and I decided to see if they would be worth the trouble. First thing I noticed, outside of the quality wrapper, was the length, I'm 6'5" (77") and 240 so I had my doubts that it'd even be big enough to cover me, let alone be able to wrap around me. Much to my surprise, it was big enough for me to use if I'd have needed to, though admittedly not as good as a sleeping bag, but if you have that, you wouldn't need this product. Being in Florida I don't have a whole lot of worry about hyperthermia, especially this time of year but I was curious about the ability to repel moisture in the form of a heavy dew, nothing sux more than waking up covered in dew soaked to the bone, so I tried a little experiment. I spread it out in the yard, placed newspaper on it and folded it over. Left it that way for two days and nights, on the third orning I checked it and the paper was dry. Good enough for me. I've now placed two of the remains ones into my Jeep for emergency use and the other two into my hiking pack, for those just in case purposes. If I ever need to order more, I'll definetly be using this company again, nothing but positive things to say about them, keep up the good work!

Great product-Could be a matter of life or death.
I can't say enough good things about the TITAN brand of products! The company is owned by fellow veterans who have been in the field and know what is required. The customer service is the best! After I received the product the company emailed me to say if there was any problems to contact them and they would make it right, many companies do not have that level of customer service. Most companies when trying to contact them are either impossible to get a hold of or the customer service is outsourced and they could not care less. All the products I have purchased from TITAN have been outstanding! The level of craftsmanship is exactly what I'd expect from veterans who have been in the field and know what it means to have products that are functional AND durable. They are what I think of when I think of American pride and quality! It's a great piece of mind knowing they stand behind their products 100%! I bought a bunch of these emergency blankets and decided to try one when a group of my friends and I were sitting outside at night, my girlfriend told me it worked so good that she was getting extremely hot...she had to take it off, I tried it and I could feel my body temperature rising and decided to take it off. In a situation where I had to stay warm from the elements it would be perfect! As retired military I love the fact it's camouflaged, if I want to be seen all I have to do is flip it around so the shiny part is on the outside. I have a bunch of these in my B.O.B.

Compact but easily ripped
I bought these to use on hunting trips in my emergency supplies. I like how small the package is but I opened one and it ripped right away

A Must-have.
This item (or another like it) is simply something every person should have. They’re so useful! I took two on my last pack trip, and used one as a shelter tarp. They don’t have grommets, so I packed some rubber bands in their little bags. Then, you can easily make a tie-off knob by wrapping the material around a small rock, and a rubber band to hold it in place. It effectively kept the rain off and gave me a bit of dry space to hang out.Anyway, I’ve also used them as a ground tarp (nice to have a clean, dry place to sort gear), a poncho, and of course, a blanket (even indoors, when visiting places that don’t provide enough bedding for cold nights.) They are reusable; if you fold them carefully, you can even get them back into the provided bag.I always carry one or two (one for shelter, one for a blanket) when hiking or cycling.

Better than the big box store ones
I got these several weeks ago and wanted to try them before doing a review. They are pretty stiff, but seem to be more than one use, if you watch snagging them. They do not tear all that easy. I like the camo back, too. I only opened one of them and cannot get it folded back as small as it originally was (kinda like a map, lol). They seem to do the job, if used right. See YouTube for videos on that.I will be putting one in my truck and the fork bag of my bike, as well as in my kids and my camping/emergency backpacks. I think they are a good bit thicker than the ones I've seen in the big box stores. They are a little noisy, about the same as aluminum foil. I intend to get a few more and glue/velcro them to a couple of tarps for emergency shelters or a lean-to, when fishing and I don't feel like using a tent.

Higher quality product with more than one use!
I am so glad these are offered in a stronger material than the regular mylar ones. I paid a little extra but then I would like a good product so I'm willing to pay for it. I gave one to a friend, put one in my car and the other three went into the prep bag. Very happy w my high quality item. I've read many of the reviews before I bought them and a very high percentage were as happy as me too! I also read that some people were using them to keep out the heat in summer behind the curtains! What a great idea! I would say you could also put them in a pet bed and really make it 'self heating'. Maybe under a blanket or towel so it stays cleaner. There are a lot of uses for these! Thank you for offering such a versatile and high quality product.
