Good terminal blocks!
They work great on my PCBs w/ 0.1" hole spacing, I'm very happy with them.

These require a very small screw driver to attach wires!
Very nice product, but I was expecting something with larger screws. These are tiny at best, and fit into very small spaces - but without a precision screwdriver set, you are going to have a tough time attaching wires.

Small, Small Terminal Blocks
If you — like me — are not familiar with terminal block specs you might be surprised at how small these are. My photo shows a flat screwdriver with a 1/8-inch blade to give you a sense of how small these are.A 1.5mm screwdriver would be perfect, I reckon. I only have a 1.0mm screwdriver which works great, but they are so tiny one always worries about torquing anything. A 2mm blade is a little too big and it binds in the hole.On the few I've used and played with, they all shipped with the gates closed, so I wonder if people who report problems with wire retention expected to have open gates and did not notice that they were actually closed. I've also noticed that the occasional screw head slot is cast poorly and will not grab a screwdriver.

Work great for what they're designed to do.
Since these connectors are designed with 2.54 (.1") spacing, they have to be small. You can't make a more "beefy" part in such a small space. Take your time and don't over torque the screws and you'll be fine.I can put (2) of these end-to-end on a breadboard or standard solderless breadboard for a total of (6) consecutive connectors. But (3) will not fit end-to-end. They're just a bit too wide to do this.The attached picture shows how I put (2) pieces end-to-end, skipped a space and then put on (2) more pieces end-to-end. (There are also some other connectors shown that are larger but (2) connectors span 3 holes; they are not part of this product)Highly recommended for those who understand the limitations.

Great for breadboarding low power signal connections.
I was glad to find these with actual 0.1 inch spacing which is great for breadboarding low power signal connections. You do need a very small screwdriver - like those for eyeglasses - to tighten the connections.
