This is a very good four way smart battery charger and maintainer
We bought this charger for our farm truck which has four batteries and was constantly going dead over the winter. It has been extremely useful and reliable ever since. It's kept that truck batteries topped up, and it's been very useful when we need to charge or maintain the dual batteries in our PowerStrokes, too. It has four independent charge circuits, and each one independently supports normal or AGM mode. It has several self protection circuits to detect improper connection, battery over or under charge, etc. It works in extreme heat, extreme cold, and the rain and frost don't seem to bother it. We've been very pleased with it. If there's one complaint about it, it's that if the batteries to be charged are too low, it will not charge them. You will need to find a way to get some power into the batteries before it will start charging. We use jumper cables to a known good battery to sort of "trick" the charger into starting, but once it does start charging, it'll fully charge even a totally flat battery in a day or so. It's not a fast charger, it's 2amps per battery circuit, and it doesn't have a jump starter function. But if you have the time to allow the charger to work for a few hours or overnight, it'll fully charge just about anything, including four totally flat 1300CCA 6TAGM batteries overnight. This is a great charger and I highly recommend it.

Easy to use
This multiple battery maintainer. Does a fine job and it's worked flawlessly so far? It's also very easy to operate and you can tell what's going on from the front

Works
Use this for a set of batteries I have in a series. It was a good price and seems to be a good quality. The reason for 4-stars - You have to start and stop each battery separately, since I am not using individual this is more of a hassle for me. Also, I do not like the clips that connects to battery - I have always had chargers with clamps!

Works!
I purchased two of these units to store my batteries over the winter. Two 230 amp wet tractor/atv batteries and two wet 850 amp dump truck batteries. The other unit has two 1000 amp AGM boat batteries & two more tractor/atv batteries.I check the fluid in the wet batteries before I set them up for the winter and all of them are good to go in the spring.Best charger/maintainer on the market

Will not bring back a heavily drained battery. Takes forever to charge
We were looking for a mult-battery charger for our assembly line which sometimes comes across 12V SLA batteries that are heavily drained to 4V or partially drained to 8-9V. 1). This unit is advertised to be able to charge from 1V and revitalize sulfated batteries. It does not do either. a). You cannot force charge a battery, it just shuts down. b). the charger will shut down if battery is below 8V c). if the battery is below 6V, you have to put it in 6V mode or it will not try charge. Then once it gets to 7V, switch to 12V charge and pray it will keep going. 2). This is supposed to charge at 5A/Channel which means it shouldn't take 8hrs to charge a 20Ah battery that is drained to 11.5V. Another charger with the same rating only took 3hrs to complete. 3). 1 of the channels tends to fail a battery when the others are able to charge the battery to full charge. 4). You cannot force charge by holding the button down. I was told that force mode is only if the battery is below 1V !!! What's the use of that if the system won't automatically do it at higher voltages.Don't waste your money on this one, buy a different brand. I sent my unit in for repair and was told it was working to spec.

Holding up
Batteries are holding up so far this winter in our basement with this charger/maintainer. Gone thru multiple cycles and still strong.

Voltage status
Voltage status not displayed. Not important to me as I use a volt meter but it may be convenient to others. All said I've already charged two batteries fully that I was ready to throw out because they didn't hold charge. Now they do and hold it well.
