ACDelco Gold 334-1115 Alternator, Remanufactured (Renewed)

Using this on a jeep 4 liter. Have a few thousand miles on it and works great. When it was new, it had one instance of getting close to 15v when it was freezing outside, but after that it hasn’t repeated even in cold weather.

Installed today in my daughter's 1997 Jeep Wrangler SE with 4 cylinder/automatic.Perfect fit with identical connections, mounting points, and pulley as the original. Took me about 3 hours to remove and replace the alternator, which was longer than I expected. It took longer mainly due to the ridiculous electrical connection on the bottom/back side of the alternator - I had to remove the alternator first, then twist it around to get access to the two small (7mm) mounting nuts, in addition to the two 10mm nuts that hold this connection in place. Ended up getting under the Jeep to get at one of the 10mm connector nuts. But that's a Jeep/Chrysler design problem - this alternator is perfect. Upon completion, started up the Jeep and got a steady 14 Volts DC on the dash gauge.Also, I got a great deal through Amazon Warehouse Deals for about 45 bucks and free shipping! Brand new (not rebuilt) alternator came in the original AC Delco box but it had been opened and returned, so they sold it as "used". Saved some good money on the deal.

It fit my 1993 Jeep cherokee sport and haven't had any problems with it I'm only a week in but will give another review when I'm about 7 months if all is goes well ill give it the last 🌟 😎

Alternator worked well, did what I needed it to do. Not too hard to install. Basic parts and tools.

Fit perfectly. Only been installed a few weeks, but the amp meter hand sets at 14 volts-- right where it should. Will have to see if it lasts as long as the last one (12 years)...

Installed on a jeep wrangler 2.5 (yj). Install was a breeze, tighten the belt, started the vehicle mil (check engine light) comes on immediately. Scan codes and find 41 alternator code. Head to O'Reilly get new alternator, problem solved. Drive vehicle for 50 miles no problem with O'Reilly alternator. Definitely sending back. Did have alternator tested and was dead. Spend the extra money and get one from the parts house.

Review of  ACDelco 334-1115 Professional Alternator, Remanufactured . This was my third attempt at replacing the original Denso alternator on my 1997 Jeep Wrangler. The first 2 attempts were with new brand-name alternators, both of which made an irritating whine at idle and were returned as defective. This ACDelco alternator works great and was an exact fit. I gave it only 3 stars because it is still more noisy than the original but at least it doesn't whine. Only time will tell if it holds up to the day-to-day stresses under the hood. I do recommend this product as a reasonably priced, well performing replacement for the original alternator.
