This is a brand new holster from a USA manufacturer that combines the ruggedness and stability of a belt holster with the convenience of a clip-on. It's multi-layer nylon cushion fit design molds itself to the shape of the gun. This holster is ambidextrous and includes both 2" wide belt loops and a sturdy, high carbon, black metal clip. The holster may be worn either left or right handed; it includes belt loops on both sides and the metal clip can be moved from side to side. The polyslide sight channel, soft nylon lining and reinforced thumb break insure a quick release and a smooth draw. The thumbreak is positioned across the hammer instead of the grip for a natural feel and a positive draw. The holster is constructed using only top grade, new materials, and no surplus automotive foams, fillers or liners. The nylon exterior provides resistance to scuffs, abrasions and moisture. The interior features a smooth nylon lining and a closed cell foam moisture barrier. It is sewn using nylon thread and edgebound with nylon binding tape using double needle stitching to provide about 14 stitches per inch reinforcement. The combination of materials and hand finishing provides a strong, good looking, long wearing holster.

If you are left handled this holster works great.
I am left handed and this holster worked great for my Smith & Wesson 38 special P. The top snap to hold pistol in holster is super easy to quickly unsnap, without looking, with my left thumb. Well made and belt loop size amply for my wide belt. One happy customer because my only other option was an expensive custom holster. I had previously bought a holster that clipped on my belt that had NO snap to hold pistol in holster. Many times the holster slipped off my belt and hit the ground. A couple of times my gun fell out of the holster onto ground. This holster avoids those safety issues and your pistol will not get dinged.

Works but could be better
I purchased this for my wife's S&W Bodyguard 38. It works but it seems too bulky for what it is. I do like that it is fully reversible and the strap can be removed. It can be used IWB or OWB, RH or LH. The strap can retain the pistol when the holster is in her purse. The belt clip can be removed. However, when I carry that gun (concealed IWB) I prefer a Uncle Mike's size 36 neoprene holster that also works with my Kel-tec P11. That holster is much thinner and easier to conceal. This holster just seems a bit too thick and adds thickness to what could otherwise be an easily concealed gun. If you carry open, at the range, etc., that may not be an issue and the versatility of this holster definitely serves a purpose. You'll probably end up with multiple holsters anyway, and this is an OK option for certain uses.

Great low cost bodyguard .38 holster
S&W Bodyguard .38 owners know how hard it can be to come by non-concealed holsters for their handguns, so I'm please to say that after breaking in the snap, this is quite the adequate little holster! My only complaint is that the retention strap velcros onto both sides of the holster (securely, mind you) and slightly detract from the appearance, but form must follow function.

The stitching started to fall apart right away
It seems to fit my S&W Bodyguard 38 well...However I just received it this evening, and the stitching started to fall apart right away ={I was hoping for Better Quality, especially considering it was stitched to the tag that said"Made in USA"

Fits the new S&W Bodyguard 380 perfectly
It is a nice holster for the price. It can be worn right or left, inside the pant top or outside. When worn inside the wasteband I remove the safty strap for better comfort. The gun is held quite snugly but can slip into your hand. Worn under a loose T or sweatshirt it does not present much of a profile but if total cocealment is your goal then I think a more expensive holster is a better bet. Still, this is a very nice little holster for general use.

Ok for the price
The item arrived as described and in a timely manner. The price was very reasonable, but my S&W 38 Special fits almost unusually tight in the holster. It may just need to be broken in so that the nylon can stretch a little. The metal clip is not very comfortable for conceal carry. The product seems well made and is a good deal for the price, but think for comfortable conceal carry, a holster made with a different design or materials may be a better option.

Perfect fit.
Holster fits my S&W 38 airlight revolver very well. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the metal clip for belt is hard to get on and off belt. The good thing is you should never have to worry about it coming off once you get it on your belt. The snap is easy to pop off with 1 or 2 fingers so you can access gun quickly. but still holds gun snug in place.
