Really tough, high-quality model
This kit was super fun to put together. Took probably 10-12 hours total over about three weeks. Like others have said, the instructions are definitely not the clearest. You really have to pay close attention to some of the images to figure out what you're supposed to do. More than a few times, I had to backtrack several steps because I realized I'd done something wrong.Overall, I thought it was a VERY good value for the price.

My Custom Build of going from Nifeliz's 2014 Audi R18 to the 2016 Audi R18
This was my first time coming across this company and even though Nifeliz is based in China, this Technic set is something that I've been looking for, for quite some time and even though Lego came out with a 24 Hours of Le Man, Technic Set it just really didn't appeal to me as far as for the color choice. You most certainly get more bang for the buck through Nifeliz versus Lego where its starting to cost and arm and leg for their higher end Technic Sets, I did order the custom Lego Technic parts through a Lego parts website called Brick Owl that has multiple little stores from across the U.S.A., Canada and the rest of the World and these prices are far more reasonable and proper then dealing directly through Lego. It took me about two and half months to fully build this model and yes it is very large, the custom build came out being way more better then what I had imagined or planned for and yes I also used the Lego Technic connectors for putting all of the Lego Technic parts together and some of the Nifeliz parts together also. I don't have any idea if this Audi R18 set is still available from Nifeliz through Amazon but, if not then try and go for the Porsche 919 Le Mans set, it'll be just as good!! I've done a lot more customizing and reworking of the body to make it way more realistic looking and added the latest photos.

Not for novice builders however not too bad.
Sick of useless reviews so here is my flat out review of this product. I bought this kit because I wanted an example of how this compares to the lego product line. As it was one of the few available kits from this manufacturer at this time I can assume that other products will be similar in build quality. I will make it clear right away, this isn’t a lego toy. It is a model kit 1:8 scale which is about right it is a sizable build. As shown in photo with undisclosed can of soda and typical small toy car from undisclosed manufacturer. If you are familiar with model kits and have experience building them it is helpful. The kit is packaged well, the standard shoebox style carton without graphics is handy for re-use around the house or use for shipping small items. The components are bagged up in stages and the step numbers appear on the bags making it easy to have the right parts available as they are needed. Unlike lego don’t just start by opening all the bags. The selection of plastic type is obviously not the same as lego. The plastic is not as sturdy and is obviously a cheaper mix. However, they have modified the engineering of the whole build to compensate for the inferior material choice. There is some flashing on components that makes for a tight fit in some instances however on some smaller gears and axle retainers the loose fitment was less than ideal. In instances as such a tiny dab of superglue, nail polish or retaining compound makes this no big deal. Bought my test product as a static display, if you want it to be remotely controlled with lights get the kit right away. It will be easier installed during the initial build. If you are going to do so I definitely suggest using a method of retaining gears to axles. The gears mesh okay, a little rough but I think they will wear in if using as a powered remotely vehicle.Conclusion. For the size of this kit from this manufacturer you would easily be in the $300 minimum from lego. The extra time to retain certain components when needed is no real issue in my opinion. The construction of this is designed well and moving it isn’t a big hassle as it can be with some larger lego toys that can be fragile. Don’t get me wrong I have many lego kits and grew up on them. However, larger kits are very expensive and tend to be fragile, furthermore certain styles of cars aren’t available through lego either. Value for the money is here in my opinion. These kits aren’t for a novice builder! You need to keenly look at the directions, add additional processing to components but if done you have a more than acceptable “brick built” model.

Very surprised
This was a fun build, frustrating and the directions could have been better written. 99% of the parts are black and it makes it frustrating as all the blending the blackness together. Over all, I will buy again as the price point is amazing. I truly love WEC endurance type cars I in my opinion, this resembles the Audi LMP1 car very well.

The print for the car, couldn't really understand the book at times!
Didn't like it all!! Will not buy another again! It just wasn't the same as legos books ad for putting then together. It was hard to read it or the parts didn't go in right or to tight, to lose, most of the time had to force it to work

Very well made kit..... Very difficult..
Love it I have 2 broken feet right now so can't really do anything. But it definitely is not for people with no patients....... Or drunk ( Trust me I tried drunk)

Nice Model, Not Their Best One,But Worth The Issues.
I'll make this a quick review, This is my 8th Nifeliz model, This particular unit is my least favorite.1. Instructions are nice like the last 7, But It has many flaws, Missing steps, It will show the steps in order and in between a lot of the steps it skips important areas which leaves you to guess, Know you might think that is petty but in some areas if you miss the step, You will be taking it apart completely to get it right, You will not be happy.Make Sure you look vary closely at all the instructions.2. Some of the fittings were tight as heck and some were loose as a gooses butt at Christmas, The shafts for gears were the main culprit, Be ready to have some super glue for them, Otherwise you will be messing around with shafts falling out etc. Other than that, It's worth the money on a sale.
