A teaser for the re-releases. An ok but irrelevant collection
This collection of songs should have been a mix of what to find on the new deluxe releases (Magica, Angry Machines, Master of the Moon and Killing the Dragon) combined with outtakes not found in those collections. What we get are 7 live songs from the 2002 tour with 3 studio tracks (Push, Fever Dreams and Killing the Dragon). The problem is that the live tracks are bad. Three extremely cut down versions of Heaven and Hell (3:25), Children of the Sea (1:25) and Stargazer (1:42). The Holy Driver track has a tired, garbled Ronnie (who sounds like Brian Johnson) and 3 decent cuts. The disc should have included outtakes like Annica (which was excluded from the release of Magica) and should have included extended live cuts that were too long for the deluxe versions. You get what you pay for. This is a cheap collection for a cheap price. If you love Dio then this will round out your collection. Hopefully you will find one gem to make it worth the price.

Deceptive
This is deceptive. It’s not an 8track cassette. It’s a CD.
