Comfortable fit
Works well. First chair arrived with the arm rest detached/broken. Amazon sent a replacement chair that worked perfectly. The chair is light weight but functions well for a 200+ individualp

Great!
This was very easy to assemble. We have only used this in my mom’s house. So glad we purchased the type that has removable arms/sides for when mom has to get in the car. Also love the leg/feet pieces that can be released out to the side or can be removed.

First Chair Badly Damaged .... Second Good Deal for the Money.
From what I could tell this chair has all the features we wanted, especially the removeable arms which are hard to find in a light weight transfer wheelchair. However, we had the same shipping issues that some other buyers had. It arrived TOTALLY crushed, frame bent, arm rests broken and fabric torn. Came in larger box than necessary, NO internal packing or support. What gives with the manufacturer's shipping department? Only the lack of other chairs with removeable arms and the ease of returns made us reorder. We just wrapped the whole thing up in a black leaf bag with duct tape and set it out for UPS to pick up the next day. SheeshIf the next one arrives without damage it looks like it might be a good choice for the infrequent MD appointment, meal out or getting in/out of a small car.Only gave it 3 stars in the beginning because just too damaged to see what we actually had. Did review again because we actually get one that isn't so badly damaged.Updated - 2nd one undamaged. Product pretty much as advertised, lots of loose nuts and bolts though and tight fittings, so get out your WD40 and use the wrench provided. Meets our need for a folding transfer wheelchair with removeable arms and OK for the price. Added another star for features for the cost, but no fifth star because of shipping issues, quality control and very basic design.

Armrest recess and removability
Product arrived early to meet our badly need. It’s exactly as described; well built and engineered.Armrest recess makes it possible to seat the person closer to the table. Both armrests are easy to remove. A very good product for people with mobility handicap. An extra fine point of design:The small straps on footrests keep the resting feet from sliding back, which is very helpful for the patient.

Chair design fine. Construction iffy. Check details.
I needed a transport wheelchair with removable arms to enable my sister-in-law to slide off it sideways. Design-wise this one fits our needs. However, its construction could be better. The first one we received was defective--one of the arms could not be removed. It appeared that the sleeve it slid into was welded at an angle; two adults couldn't remove it. The replacement doesn't have that defect--a plus. However the front wheels were so tight that one wouldn't turn and the other barely turned. I was able to adjust them so they seem to be okay now. The chair came with a wrench, a nice touch.I give a plus to the supplier for sending a replacement very quickly and without a hassle. I give a minus to my return experience (not sure if that is Amazon, UPS, someone else or a combination of them--read on). There were options to return, and I chose UPS pickup at my home, and scheduled it. They said they tried 3 times, but there was someone home almost all the time on those days and no knock was heard, nor was anything left indicating an attempt to pick up the chair. To be fair, it was just after Thanksgiving, so they were probably very busy, but still..... So I decided to take the chair to a nearby UPS customer center (not a store, but a major shipping center right near a huge UPS warehouse). However, I was unable to print out a return label, perhaps because I had first selected return by pickup. So I took the Tracking number, which it did generate, to the UPS center. I then had to go to the office in the warehouse, a block away, where a very helpful woman printed out a shipping label, which I took back to the customer center. She was helpful, but she printed the wrong label--it would have sent the returned chair back to my home. Luckily the man at the customer center went on his computer and printed the correct label (I think, since the chair hasn't reappeared at my home and it's been a week). So that's the odyssey. The chair is what we need, and seems to be in working condition now. But beware!

Adequate
Very light weight. I would not recommend using on gravel walkways or such. Works wonderful on paved areas and indoors. My father said it was uncomfortable after a few minutes. He felt a good cushion of some type would help. We added a cushion on our next outting and it was fine. Good value for the money. Easy to fold.

As advertised, but not useful everywhere.
First, this wheelchair IS light. It IS compact. Those are true. What it isn't is comfortable on any surface that isn't perfectly smooth. Bumps, dirt, gravel, anything that can make a bump WILL.The patient gets jarred around. The carer has to lift and strain. We use this chair for my stroke victim wife when we leave the house. So, a restaurant with cobblestone? Bad.Dirt parking lot? Bad.AND, the front and rear tires LOOK the same but have different axle sizes, so, when the tires wear out, or you want to improve it with pneumatic tires, you have buy 2 different pairs. If you use this once a month, it will be fine.If you use frequently, it is horrible.
