Worth Every Penny!
Tough to give a complete and thorough review of the product/service - I mean basically, I ordered some pasta, it was exactly what I wanted, it arrived quickly, and it was in good condition. Perfect. What else can I say? Well, now that I think about it, I can say what I did with it. Here is a picture of the final “product” … AND IT WAS DELICIOUS! I was trying to duplicate a dish that I had in Florence – basically a pasta with mushrooms and prosciutto – so I used your Pici di Toscana, which as you know is a hand-rolled pasta that originates in the province of Siena in Tuscany. For the mushrooms, I used a combination of Crimini, Portobello, Shiitake and Oyster and sautéed them with thyme, butter and olive oil and then added shallots and prosciutto. I then experimented with different types of flavor profiles (including veal demi-glace, heavy cream and of course more butter – all too heavy.) I think I made six different options before I decided that a light sauce was what I were looking for and used chicken stock seasoned with thyme, marjoram and oregano and some pasta water instead of something heavy. I topped it with crumbled fried prosciutto, a drizzle of black truffle oil, and if you look closely, you will see a sprinkling of fresh thyme blossoms. P.S. Thank you for a great product!

enjoyed to much! I cannot say enough! Thank you so much!
I can't even begin to describe how delectable is this pasta! I've NEVER tasted anything so exquisite! I have always been purchasing pasta in U.S. grocery stores, most of which was, apparently, not made with this combination of grains. You cannot possibly go wrong! It's more than delicious. It's a meal straight from Italy and fills you up like one.

Almost like being back in Tuscany!
We were introduced to pici pasta last October while touring Tuscany. It is such a unique pasta shape and much to fragile to try to pack in a suitcase and bring home. But Amazon had it and it is great. Takes quite a while to cook - at least 23 minutes. Holds sauce so well! Thank you Amazon for being such a great source!

Great pasta
I was looking for a starchy Pici's to cook a classical cacio e pepe, I havent had any luck with getting that creamy pecorino sauce with a pasta from a next door groceries. With this one I've got a really perfect result, sauce was exactly I wanted it to be. If you're cooking cacio e pepe, I would recommend to boil it in a smaller pot for better starch concentration in a water. Pasta is pricey, but the result was impressively good.

Fantastic taste of Tuscany
After a vacation in Tuscany, we were ready to buy a new suitcase to stuff it full of pici to bring home since I had not found this before at our local markets. We didn't do that, so it was even more remarkable to find this product on Amazon. The taste, texture and look were exactly what we missed when we left Tuscany! Fantastic product and excellent service from the company.

There’s no substitute for real pici from Italy.
I fell in live with fresh pici while visiting Cortona in Tuscany. Not having pici, let alone fresh pici, in the US has been disappointing. But the Morrelli pici is a damned great substitute for the real deal. And can’t wait to return to Cortona in October to get the fresh stuff again.

Bugs
I purchased two bags of this Pici Pasta and both bags had bugs in them, but they are so small you cant tell until you put the pasta in water. Beware.
