Panacea 89089 Black Garden Arbor 84"x75"x26"

This is a lovely trellis and was assembled easily with two people. The design is so lovely, the finish is excellent, and no trouble with the nuts and bolts. There were a couple of minor scrapes and scratches due to the too flimsy cardboard packing box that broke at one end and a couple of pieces did have paint scraped off. This I fixed with a little spray paint. I would have been happier with a sturdier cardboard packaging. I used this trellis to suspend a rose vine next to my house.

Delivered later then originally promised and both ends of box were damaged exposing the arbor and damaging the metal pieces, very unhappy with this for such an expensive item!!!! !!!!!

I love this Arbor. 2 years later, it still looks amazing. But word of warning about his and any Arbor. The ground stakes/support will not hold up in a severe storm or high winds. It is very easy to tip over. The first year I tried 12 inch plastic stakes and zip ties on the footings to supplement support. The midwest storms ripped those out. Then I tried 2 foot ones, those got bent over. What finally worked was getting 5 foot metal ones (ie. rebar or 2" wide heavy duty metal ones), pounding 2 feet into the ground, leaving 3 feet exposed along each of the 4 corners and zip tieing the arbor to them. You may think this looks ugly or is too much, but when you have expensive plants growing up the Arbor, it's worth the extra work or support. So just be aware of your climate when you buy an Arbor. This type needs extra help in the midwest. I still love it. And think it's a great product.

This is a much better product than I expected. Easy to assemble and tall enough to use over a walkway.

I bought two of these for our two pathes leading up to our garden. The first arbor was supposed to go in front of our fence and the other over our walkway. When they arrived and I started to assemble the arbors, I realized they were not as wide as the dimensions stated on the product page. Turns out that they list the top dimension as the width, not the opening! Not very useful since you use an arbor according to path width, not top. I decided to keep them both, since the 2nd arbor actually fit the path. The first arbor is a "tight squeeze" but decided to live with them.Now after having them a few months, the top bolt "nuts" that attach the top lattice are starting to rust and show an ugly red instead of the all black. Very noticeable. Too late to return to Amazon and I'm stuck with a can of black Rustoleum for the fix. So, beware of both the deceptive dimensions and the rust problem before you decided to purchase.

The assembly was simple and it arrived quickly. We plan to use this arbor to hold grapevines on either side but it would work for any climbing plants. The metalwork detail is nice with plant-like leaves in the design.
