Rage R/CTaylorcraft Golden Age Micro RTF Airplane

Really like the details of the plane, light weight and really enjoy the tail and its ability to turn.First test flight resulted in the top wing coming off mid flight. Found that the magnets which are really nice when it does crash were stuck on the wing together. So I was able to reapply the magnets one to the plane and one to the wing. Thus allowing the magnets to connect together but during a crash the wing will come off nicely.Next issue has been the battery falling off during flight still working on that fix for now a rubber band has assisted.During take off and flight plane tends to drift to the right, found that the tail fin was coming loose. Used Elmers glue to glue back on the tail better. Seems to have helped with the drifting. I may have to reinforce with white tape but I will see how the glue holds for a few more flights.The nose cone took a few beatings and had to be glued together. At least the material the plane is made out seems to hold up to a few crashes. The controls seem good, the acceleration is awesome battery seems to last a decent amount of time before recharging (probable should invest in another battery to switch when down at the park).Bought as a beginner plane for my son, but with the repair work I have to keep doing it has been more in my shop then flying. Now is a little nervous to fly because it tends to crash more then fly in the air.Also noticed I have to fix the propeller seems a little bent and rubs against the battery.I probable will buy a different plane with a better beginners control so my son can enjoy flying more than staring at the nice looking plane on the ground.

Don't buy this airplane it's a week nothing fit right the transmitter elevator Rudder Knob Broke right off first touch the plane crashed in annihilation it's uncontrollable it's made out of some real cheap styrofoam it might as well be paper it's a lousy motor configuration gear driven very noisy as soon as the front of the plane hit the ground it been to shaft shaffer's Bend and it barely flu again all I did was wobble I don't know what someone was thinking making this airplane but they weren't thinking they must have had a bad night sleeping and took it out on everybody else who bought this airplane not happy things cost too much money as it is. !!
