I bought an X20 in 2019 and found it easy to use, giving excellent results in both still (at 20M) and video at 1080p 60fps. The 4k video at 24fps provided clearer images - fine if you want to frame grab, but a bit jerky for continuous video, particularly if the camera was bouncing around a bit! With good lighting I was able to zoom the video in post production without too much loss of quality. Unfortunately the 2019 waterproof housing started to leak - round the lens cover, so I decided to purchase another X20, to get a new housing, as well as a second X20 for two camera takes. What I was sent, initially, was the X20 update, now an X20C, which compared with the X20 I already had was terrible. What it clearly demonstrated is actually how good the "older" X20 is. This 2020 X20 is just as good as the 2019 version - identical in fact. The X20C, for a starter has a fixed wide angle of only 75 degrees, nothing like the 170 degrees advertised. The X20 at maximum is about 110 degrees, and to reduce barreling you can reduce this if you want to. I keep it on maximum, with the Distortion Correction on and the images look fine. If you have the horizon in the shot, keep it at about mid height! The video files are much smaller in the X20 than in the X20C - for the same settings, which means more footage on the memory card and quicker post processing. The X20 labels its .mp4 files with the date and time of recording - making it easy to track down your footage. The X20C just numbers its files which is crazy. I did a whole load of test footage, and had no idea when the shots were taken. Hopeless when you want to edit. I took the file labeling for granted in the X20, but if you don't have it you realize how good it is. One final good point in the X20 is that you can set the white balance easily. You can leave it on auto, and set the images to warm/cool and other clever things, but what I find is you get a generally pleasing image if the white balance is set to cloudy. Warm/cool gets switched off, but the image stays "warm". I recommend this camera. I have an older GoPro but under water it goes out of focus due to a curved lens on the housing. The X20 housing is flat, and optically pure, so underwater shots are beautiful. Get this camera, but make sure you do not get the similarly specified X20C!

This action camera is nice, although there is maybe a few problems. The action camera comes with lots of accessories like a camera remote, lots of brackets, 2 batteries, charging cable, a cleaning cloth and a user manual.The camera quality seems pretty good but I really just was having a quick look at the camera. The touch screen is only okay as a touch screen, but the screen quality is good. There are nine modes for filming with the camera like photo, video, time lapse, slow motion and a few more. With the accessories, they look okay. It is probably possible to mount it on anything you want to.Overall, this action camera is pretty good or things like going on holidays, but not for using professionally. 4 stars.

Performs well.Only difficulties for me operation it out of reach on a yacht were you cannot turn on the WiFI remotely and it only works in AP mode so you cannot connect it to a router that is also accessing the Internet.

Good camera overall for the price, IS is not as smooth when comparing it to a GoPro but keep in mind this is a fraction of the price of a GoPro. I would definitely buy it again. The Picture quality is very good and the colors are vibrant.

Small and lightweighted, very easy to use. Cant wait for the holidays to try it under water!

Great functions, really good quality for a £50 camera! Sound isn't too bad but, never great on these things. really easy to use. Would recommend!
