Thin plastic
Probably just me, but old timers like things more sturdy. Hasn't been a problem, probably the way they all are made, just picky old men.

No bung and no information on what size :/
We had to our our wine back in the bucket to be able to use the airlock.

Not the same size opening as glass carboys
Looks to be a great product, but the opening doesn’t fit any of the stoppers I use for glass carboys. There wasn’t enough information to determine what stopper set up would work so I returned it and purchased a glass one instead.

Serves a Purpose, But Be Careful
These plastic carboys are okay for general use, but do not try to use a vacuum pump with them; they collapse.

The fact that you need a special sized bung and airlock sucks. Couldn't use my existing stoppers and air locks.
