Haven't tried these before but they were recommended by a physio. They feel rather firm if not hard for first time use but I might get used to them

Absolutely perfect for my feet, I use the smooth ball on my left foot as I had a catastrophic injury some years ago by missing one step, it was a complete fracture/dislocation called a Lisfranc.This helps with the ache I get in the middle sole of my foot, such a relief!I use the spiked ball on my right foot as I suffer from plantar fasciitis in that foot, I cannot believe how much of a difference it makes, a little ticklish at first but I soon got used to it.Highly recommended!

Really very useful these balls to relax the muscle. By pressing the right point with the ball, you can relax the muscle through movements and massages. I found it very useful, a good product.

If it was a little larger it would be perfect!! However, it's great. The relief to my hands and feet is phenomenal. I'd recommend it 5*

There are 2 balls in this set; a smooth ball that can be squashed a bit and a hard spiky ball. We've mainly used the smooth ball which is great for targeting specific areas. Yet to find a decent usage for the spiky ball. These are well made and are a great introductory set of massage balls at a great price.

I train regularly & occasionally have sore muscles & minor aches. When it does happen it's usually after an intensive leg training session, so having a massage aid to help soothe any muscle tension or soreness is always helpful.As such, I was happy to have the opportunity to receive & test the PROTONE Massage Ball Set & see if they would be useful as a post-workout & recovery aid. The massage ball set arrives in a plain brown cardboard box with minimal plastic packing inside.The blue smooth massage ball is firm with a little bit of give. This ball was useful for just helping roll out mild soreness or tension on muscles.The black spiky massage ball is pretty hard, but I did find this ball useful when helping ease deeper muscle soreness, tension or more persistent ache.Considering the PROTONE Massage Ball Set is only priced just under £8, these are a very reasonably priced accessory for some basic massage assistance. If you're in need for regular & more intensive deep tissue muscle massage, then investing in a massage gun is worthwhile, but for occasional use, the PROTONE Massage Ball Set can be useful.

I ordered these for my wife to use, as recommended by her yoga teacher. This is a pair of massage balls, one smooth and one spiky. The smooth ball has some give while being quite firm but the spiky one is solid. The smooth ball is fine but she was really looking for a softer spiky ball.I have been able to find soft spiky balls on-line at an equivalent price but to get an ideal firmness I am going to look for a more expensive design, where firmness can be regulated using a sports ball pump. The Protone massage balls work well for someone wanting firm to hard but would not suit if you want ones that are forgiving.

I suffer from horrendous sciatic-type pain and have been advised by my physio to try out these balls to help relieve pain. You get 1 smooth ball and 1 spiky one, the spiky one reminds me of the balls you put in the tumble dryer!I have tried both and I prefer the feel and pressure of the smooth ball. It does really hurt when using them, but it is that strange kind of pain that you welcome as it feels like it is really getting to the source of the pain and helping to relieve it.These balls didn’t come with any instructions which I think would be helpful if they did as you don’t really know if you’re using them in the right way, although nothing that a quick internet search can’t resolve.These balls could be handy for all kinds of aches and pains, definitely something worth keeping at home and they’re not a bad price either!
