Fine Elegant Glass Hummingbird with Porcelain Iris Flower Glass Bell Figurine, 5-1/4 in

My neighbor loved this!

Arrived in great time. Packed well. Beautiful.

The bell is very thin glass with plastic hummingbird on top and the little bird inside is more like a poorly designed bug with wings. The leaves are glass that's been painted green and it rubs off. I just took a damp cloth to clean it and the paint just wiped off. I'm very disappointed!

How it was packaged, I have a hard time believing if the bell I bought in advance for my mother's Christmas gift was broken during transit or as it was packaged. It seemed to be wrapped tightly with a clear bag. The bell definitely seemed cushioned well inside and stayed in place with the foam so I am doubting it was broke during transit. Either way, yes, it was broken when I received it. It seemed to have snapped horizontally where the leaf with the hummingbird was attached to the rest of the bell. I used some E-6000 and it fixed it right up without looking extremely noticeable. All in all, I am happy with how it looks, just really wish it wasn't broken considering it is for a Christmas gift <x (

The bird and the flower are plastic, not porcelain as advertised. I considered returning the item but it is pretty and the bell has a nice ring to it. This was a replacement for one broken in a move. If I find one similar to the one that was broken, I will buy it and give this one to my granddaughter.
