SoljerBlue Gill Sun Fish Panfish Talipia for Bass Fishing Lure

Buy Two.....you'll need an extra one fur shure!
I got this Lure just knowing and expecting it to perform. Out on my Dock at 9:30 am on a Summer Day, I started out with a 11" Power Worm, and after 9-10 casts caught a 4 lb Bass. So now it's after 10 am, and I decided to try out my new Krave Blue Gill.I didn't bother to re-wind my Reel that had some 8lb test...I just clipped the Krave on and gave a few short casts to observe Sink and Swim characteristics.I'll say this, no rigged live Panfish has the action the Krave showed me. (...but be advised, this Lure doen NOT sink slowly, it drops at over just over 12" a second...) Now at the end of my Dock I have a 12' deep x 15' wide trench that extends out 20 yards. I made a cast out to the end, let the lure sink for 4 seconds, and started my retrieve. Within 5 seconds I had a strong bite, a brief struggle, and a top water breach that showed me a Bass of at least 9lbs+. I tried to loosen my drag but after the breach, but the Bass simply started a run and snapped my line like sewing thread.So.....I just ordered 2 more Sunfish, and my Reel will have some 16 lb test Spider Wire a'waitin' the arrival of my Lures on Monday. Which just so happens to be my Birthday. And Fisherman worth his Pliers knows a good lure on sight, and after a few casts, in action. I'm stating for the record that this Lure will chase out the Bigguns' down at the thermoplane level on a Hot day, and work just as well running just under/at the surface.

Lure works awesome!!
Please read entire review!Lure works awesome!!!!!!I caught a 7lb bass on my second cast the first time I used it, the fish hit with no hesitation the lure was completely engulfed. I'm sure I may have had a little luck on my side as well. However this is the only fish I caught because the tail section broke off after the first fish making the lure unusable.I'm sure it's hard to make a lure hold up to the abuse that a bid fish will put it thru but I did expect it to hold up a little better since they are $13 a pop.All that said if I gotta pay $13 per 7lb bass I catch even if they break I'm in 100%

Great looking lure but...
I am returning this lure. After a quick look it was visible that the tail was not going to stay for too long. The nylon fabric that holds the body section was about to give. As I see other reviews staying that the tail braking off after a use, I decided to return without even try. Too bad because it is a good looking lure.

This is the best one I've ever used
I've used a lot of swim baits ( not bragging at all ) . This is the best one I've ever used. It swims like a real fish would and looks like one too!

Nice action and good paint.
Caught a bass 1st cast! Nice action and realistic paint job is very nice. Changed out the front hook to a better hook but the bait itself is great.

Save your money.
The lure swims very naturally however it is NOT sturdy. I’ve gotten one hit on it didn’t even hook the fish and the tail broke. Save your money.

He was super excited - used this in the pool to show ...
Bought this for my husband for Christmas - he already had a couple segmented lures. He was super excited - used this in the pool to show people - the movement is very real looking he liked the weight and movement. He can't wait to get out there to use it and catch something

Good looking lure and good panfish swimming action.
I was hoping for a neutral buoyancy lure, the action is great, but you can't stop it on the retrieve as it has an unnatural sink. Otherwise a good lure.
