Lalaloopsy Girls Cake Fashion Doll- Fancy Frost 'N' Glaze (Discontinued by manufacturer)

I wish they had a version of just the doll with a normal dress to ad to my collection of Girls line, I thought I would just toss the play stuff and display the doll, but with a WIDE plastic dress ugh I'm disappointed, I love the colors and the doll just not the dress.

Purchased this for my daughter for Christmas. She's already asking for the other one like it. It's a cute concept, but difficult on little (and even adult) hands. My 5 year old had a hard time squeezing the tubes of frosting and glitter gel. I had to do the squeezing with frequent breaks because it was hard on my fingers. The "fondant" is like that airy pliable model magic air dry clay stuff. Much less gewy than play doh, but I recommend working with it on wax paper or a play doh mat as it will stick to the table. It was much easier on the hands, but does not hold the shape of the mold well if unless you use twice as much as needed to fill the mold. Otherwise, getting the dough out of the mold requires a knife or similar to loosen it which messes up the shape. We ended up using the shoes to gently stamp the shape onto the dough then cutting it down to the shape. It wasn't ideal, but better than pressing it into the mold and trying to get it out. 4 stars instead of 3 because of how much my daughter loved being able to decorate the doll. Some said there was enough product to decorate a couple of times. I don't feel like that is true. There might be depending on how your child chooses to decorate, but the amounts left in the tubes after one session is so difficult to get out, it would be useless. There is about 1/3 of the dough left if she wanted to use that again, but, with the way it dries and adding the glue to it to stick it on the doll, it will likely be used free of the doll. A few tweaks to the concept would make this a 5 star product without a doubt!

I got the Lalaloopsy cake fashion doll as a gift for my 5 year old granddaughters birthday. She loves it! Super fun and kept her occupied for a long time. Perfect gift. I would recommed this item

Frosting was so hard and did not work just made huge mess and then popped open. It is cheap because other than the glitter it is dried out. Also the doll is a massive pain to get out of the box.

OK product! Really can only pay with it once since it leaves a mess and the playdough doesn't last very long. Wouldn't purchase again.
