Priceless

I was hesitant to read this as it just catch my interest right away. I was pleasantly surprised by quickly I was drawn into the plot. I liked the interplay of the chracters and th story line. overall a very enjoyable read. Ihope that there will be more along this story line the includes chracters from previous books.

Somehow I had missed this book from the series, but a reference in a later book had me checking the list. So glad that I got a chance to catch up on some of my favorite characters.

What more could you ask for in a story? There are likable characters, a treasure hunt on a sunken ship from the Civil War, a ghost, an old antebellum house, a story of a mistress and an illegitimate child plus a love story. Throughly enjoyed the treasure diving on old ships and all the information involved. North Carolina has many old wrecks that are explored often. Sam and Rachael fall in love while working the site for the owner of Eden's End. When They spend a week-end there, Rachael sees a ghost and valuable old family dairies are found. It's a fun read and it held my attention. Good work. This is a keeper!

I have read several of M. Stewart's books and find them a fun read...She lives in my area somewhere, so that makes her writing even more interesting. I started reading her Chesapeake Bay series and have read other books by her since then. Cannot recall if this book is in second person or not...it's been a couple of books back. Easy to read-would be a great "beach read".

I love this book. Mariah Stewart always writes great books. I try to buy every one of them.

I've purchased several of Mariah Stewart's books recently as well as in the past. I do enjoy reading her books.

Have enjoyed all of Mariah Stewart's books. Best to read them in order though. Three characters in this book are mentioned in "Moondance", also a good book.
