Genuine Nissan Parts - Switch Assy-Ascd Cancel (25300-3RA0A)

Our 2017 Sentra had become hard to start, failing to see that the brake pedal was depressed, particularly in hot weather. After just 60,000 miles, this switch had failed a second time. (It gave up and was replaced once under warranty.) The aftermarket parts catalogs don't provide a good description for it; this the TWO-wire BROWN switch that tells the vehicle computer when your foot has depressed the brake pedal. It's easy enough to swap out, and now that I know that it is a frequent failure item, I'll be keeping a spare in the glove box.

Did not work on my 2017 Armada platinum.
