The version we’ve been waiting for
Bought as a present for a 15 year old who likes Monopoly but doesn’t have hours to spend playing it. This ends all those family arguments over who’s banker, how many more hours until we stop, who’s actually won and who cheated. Well, maybe not the last one but certainly the rest. Simple concept of everything costing the same, everyone plays at once, two “go” squares and no jail. As it’s against the clock it’s quick, fun and far more painless than the traditional version. If you use your own timer and extend the rounds a bit, it would actually be good for younger children as it’s much simpler. Took a goes at reading the rules to understand it but once we understood the trading part it was very simple to pick up.As for who cheated - everyone is so engrossed in buying property and rolling their dice in the buying stage, it is impossible to watch what others are doing so there is still chance for someone to start that argument...

Quick game but a bit crazy!
Kids loved it after we finally understood the rules, which can be tricky to grasp at first. The board and pieces seem sturdy and the timer is simple to follow. Batteries (aaa) for the timer not supplied. Overall, it's a good game and quick to finish and can have multiple rounds.

Good fun
A lot of fun, simple concept but did take a few games to properly get the hang of it, it became noisy with just 2 of us playing :) more a standing up game if there are 4 of you as need to move round the board super quick.

Great fun
Hard to teach a new set of players but just like normal monopoly it’s ok if a few people know the game so the others will quickly catch up and get used to it. I don’t really know why so have so many versions

Best version of monopoly
I love monopoly but no one else ever wants to play it with me because the game is so long but this version changed that. My friends and family who find standard monopoly boring loved this version. You have to be quick and it’s great fun zooming around the board. Definitely recommend!

10 minute game is refreshing!
Great twist on the famous board game! I used get sick of the long games which spanned over multiple days, due to other things going on in life, like mealtimes and sleeping. The 10 minute version is much better!

An enjoyable alternative to the classic game
Played this a few times now (easily done seeing that the game time is so short) and I must say that I've found it an enjoyable alternative to the original classic game. The packaging seems a little large for the few items inside the box and the four playing pieces seem 'cheap'. The board itself is good quality and thick so should last a long time unfolding and folding it each time of play. I like the timer (you'll need to buy 3 x AAA batteries as these are not supplied in the box) which keeps the players 'on time' as to each stage of the very fast gameplay and once the easily learned rules are learned its a doddle to get straight into the action and yes, its all over and winner declared in 10 minutes! As for game-play longevity, this will be brought out occasionally as a fun alternative which can be easily enjoyed by all age ranges when time might not be so available to play the full original game - but, in the long run, it is just what I've called it, it's a novelty which won't ever replace the original. Add it to your Monopoly collection and bring it out once in a while when friends and family want to play something a little 'different' and you'll find that it was definitely twenty quid well spent.
