From 3 deg F on a Idaho mountain mule deer hunt to the hard woods of an Illinois tree stand, for light packable insulation this is the way to go.

I have only used these once. They seem pretty warm. Do not like the velcro at the top on each side. Noisy and sticks to wool gloves. They seem promising for packable warmth, but I will need to try them quite few times more before making an informed decision.

These pants are designed to be an outer layer and there paper thin , first trip out Grouse hunting and ripped them on Sage brush 👎🏻 But other than the cheap quality there at least warm

Really warm but fragile. Absolutely would not wear these pants in brush. I use them primarily around camp on super cold evenings or as a second layer under something more heavy duty. Very light weight. Too bad they can’t make the same pant with heavier protective material.Other than then that I would definitely recommend these to friends with the caveat that these aren’t meant for hiking in the brush.

Warm but the material isn’t very strong. Packs down really nice into he size of a small football

Warm, but very prone to tearing. One day of hunting completely destroyed them once a few thorns were encountered.

Blocks the wind and cold nicely, easy to put on while in the field.
