Super Box - Start a Collection or Expand on an Existing One - 10 Collectible Comic Book Subscription Box

Loved the comic books I got and will definitely be using them again sometime would recommend them a lot.

This subscription box makes me so happy every time it arrives. I have been an avid comic collector for forever and this subscription box allows me to revisit my favorite characters and story arcs on a monthly basis. The price is incredibly reasonable for the value of what you receive. Multiple times now I have gotten a few issues from a story arc so that I can read the arc all together. I also love that I get classic comics as well as more recent issues. Another great thing is the variant covers I receive unexpectedly!! I have had great experiences contacting the seller when I want to make a change to the box. I’ve also given it as a gift to a new comic collector who loved it as well! Can’t say enough good stuff about this box. Highly recommend!!!

I bought the Super Box as originally I was seeking to expand my new growing comic book collection. I was impressed with the variety and they really do cater to which categories you pick in your order.I spent time doing research on each packed comic and almost all of the issues are just like regular “issues” you can buy at a shop. I cannot say the box is worth double, but you do receive comics (total) worth more than the purchase. It also must be noted most of the comics dates back 3-4-5-6 and more years ago. Of course this box is still reasonable priced and is a deal.Now I did receive several variants which are very pleasant but as mentioned above, they still fall in the same category of “regular comics you could buy anywhere.”Now of course I might be contracting myself, but I did receive a special 1-25 variant which is considered very valuable as of now. That being said, all of the other included comics were just all right.Maybe I am a little biased because I’m also into comics as a investment aspect, but this is still an excellent subscription box service. This is considered the perfect gift for anyone for any occasion.Just don’t go into this service for the appreciation or investment reasons, this is more of a collection box kind of deal with exposure to new comic worlds we never would of thought of.This box subscription service still has an excellent price, just be sure to appreciate what you get. I do plan to buy more boxes because I admire the exposure to new comic worlds.

Bottom Line: After being away from collecting for a while, this may be sucking me back in. Overall, the box provided a good mix of classic and newer titles. It is good enough that I will maintain my subscription. I’m viewing it as a way to review and catch-up on the lines that I know and love, as well as an easy and economical chance to read new or lesser known storylines.Condition: Comics were nicely packaged and in great condition. The stack was bookended with stiff cardboard carrying Comic Garage logo to ensure that they weren’t damaged during shipping. They had obviously previously been bagged and boarded, which is a must for me. I also enjoyed the bonus sticker that they sent me with the company’s cool logo. That’s going on the luggage so I stop picking up other people’s stuff at the baggage carousel.Comics: I signed up for both DC and Marvel Comics and received a good mixture of mainstream, popular comics and more obscure storylines (pictures attached). As a long-term Deadpool fan, it warmed my heart to have a Deadpool issue, especially one from after I stopped collecting (around 2010 – I know I have a lot to catch up on). I was also pretty stoked to get a classic 1991 X-Men #1 issue written by Chris Claremont and drawn by Jim Lee – two of the greats. I also finally got a chance to read a Buffy comic. I’d always heard good things, but had never taken the final step. It was a good read. While I won’t be collecting all of the lines, I did fall down a rabbit hole, spending hours searching some of the story lines from the other comics. I will say that my favorite of the batch was undoubtedly Captain America # 405, where, after fighting a hypnotically controlled Wolverine, he turned into a werewolf . . . Capwolf. I kid you not. Good God, you have to love comics

Very very happy ..got cable 1# , a captain America 1# variant + Civil war 2 1# and the old Xforce 2 bagged w trading card and all titles were relevant to what I selected.very happy can't wait for next month!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

UPDATE: 2nd Super Box DeliveryMuch much worse than the first box. So many dollar comics! (11 to be precise) and 1 comic that if it was CGC graded 9.4 would be worth $22. Such a let down this month - I had never heard of 80% of the comics they included.Third box will be the deciding factor if I keep this going. I'll post another update next month*********************************************I was a little skeptical and will really hold my opinion until I receive my second box. However the first box pleasantly surprised me.1) You pick the characters you are interested in. My custom box fit pretty well into what I chose, no real deviation.2) Grades - I would review all 11 comics at ~9.4 NM condition. All are unread and in pristine condition.3) # of Comics - I received 11 instead of the listed 104) Value for money - If you divide the cost of the box by the total items, you pay ~2.70 per issue. Several issues are valued at $30, which includes the Spawn 11.5) Variety - My box included 1992 prints all the way through 2017. All major titles and several #1 first print covers. a good mix.If the boxes continue with this mix and quality - it is well worth the subscription price, and easily adds value to your collection.
